Joy to the World

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Christmas card.  I am playing along with  52CCT  - the theme is "pale blue and red".   Those are pretty colors! I used a background stencil (Simple stories) and brushed it with speckled egg distress oxide ink. Used the same ink to stamp the sentiment (Tim Holtz). I added some red die cuts (Alexandra Renke and Impression Obsession dies).  I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Linking up with: 52CCT  - pale blue and red Ellibelles Crafty Wednesday - anything goes Nachteulen Schaffen Schoenes  - Weihnachten

Katzelkraft - Aviation Graduation

Hi Everyone, it's Katzelkraft Wednesday! I made this card for my nephews graduation - he is now an aviation engineer. I used the sets  Les Pabos Aviateur  and Holiday Quotes I stamped the little pilot and colored it with Inktense. I made the sky with a MFT stencil. (Did some masking). I added the sentiment. I also added the mortar board (die by Impression Obsession). Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration! Birthday Hollyhocks

Hi Everyone,, it has been a while that I made a non DT related card...... This one went to my sister. She deserves a special card, not one out of my stash.... I bought those Impression Obsession Hollyhock dies last year and did not yet use them. Neither did I use this pretty Poppy Stamp stencil, which is even older. I used black gesso for the background, although it is kind of runny and seeped under the stencil. It still looked pretty, so I used it. Added my favorite So Suzy birthday stamp and a strip of patterned paper. i also used a bit of Stickles to glitter up the center of those Hollyhocks. Katzelkraft Twofer

Hi Everyone, It's time to play along with the Twofer challenge ! I did not want to wait until the last minute again... As you see, the requirement is pets. Birds can be pets - I had lots of them at some point in my life. Thankfully no more.... The Katzelkraft set is used is called Les Piafs .  So I settled on making a Fathers Day card - its coming up, as you know. And this bird looks quite dapper with his hat and tie (from  Impression Obsession). I colored him with Inktense pencils, The branch is by Memory Box and the sentiment is Studio 112. The second card I stamped and masked and colored with Inktense pencils. The sentiment is by STAMPlorations -pulled out my sewing machine for it. As you can see I also drew some inspiration from Kara  - her DT cards are just amazing! Stamp Connection #24

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our 24th transatlantic get-together! We also have the talented Daria from My Creations joining us. This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements: Pop Up Box Card I already did a practice run with my Spotlight card over at STAMPlorations, where I made a tutorial on how to do this. It is not quite as much work as you think it may be - otherwise I would not have made two of those.... I used my favorite bunnies from Impression Obsession, the grass is from Clearly Besotted, the small eggs (PP) are a balloon punch from which I trimmed the nipple off to make it look more like an egg. The big egg is a QuicKutz die. I used the water color paper I made for my spotlight...

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements.
