Paper Artsy Christmas Baubles

Hi Everyone, I am again playing along with  52CCT  - the theme is  a sketch, that immediately made me think of baubles. I love those Paper Artsy ones - have used them a couple of times before. I stamped the baubles onto water color paper with Versafine ink, heat embossed them in gold and cut them out. Colored them with water colors. I added a lot of gold splatters. I stamped the sentiment (Funky Fossil Designs) and heat embossed it also in gold. Added the baubles with some gold floss. The small center one I mounted on foam tape for some dimension. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Linking up with: 52CCT  - sketch Stamps&Fun= Creativity - "B" - baubles

Topflight Stamps - Christmas Spinner Tag

Hi Everyone, This week it's all about tags and gift holders at the  Topflight blog .  I used on of the tab tags from Studio Light and cut off the tab. I stamped the baubles and masked them. I brushed the background with distress inks (Uncharted mariner and Peacock Feathers). I colored the baubles with alcohol ink markers - not the best paper for it, but it kind of worked out. I diecut the opening for my spinner insert.  I stamped one of the baubles onto scrap paper twice and colored them as well.  Added them to the cut out, which I diecut a size smaller than the opening and added the cut out baubles with some silver string in between and secured it to the back of the tag. Added some of the smaller stamps in gold and silver ink Added  stickles to the ornaments and a ribbon from my stash.  And don't forget that there is still several days left to get 20% off everything on the store! I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week wi...

Topflight Stamps - Cheesy Christmas

Hi Everyone, This week it's anything goes on the  Topflight blog .  I finally got my hands on this fabulous Christmas Tree. It looks like Swiss Cheese, doesn't it? And guess who loves cheese?  Those pesky rats - you got it! I stamped the tree onto yellow card stock. colored it a bit with Copics and cut it out. marked where the tree ends up on the card and masked and stamped some of the rats. The other rats I stamped on scrap paper and cut them out. Colored them all with Copics. Assembled everything and added the heat embossed sentiment. Added Stickles to the star. Versafine Clair Inks at Topflight Stamps

Hi Everyone, This week we are featuring  Versafine Clair Inks on the  Topflight blog .  They are beautifully vibrant pigment ink pads. I inked up the background stamp in Tulip Red and Summertime Orange, although it looks all the same  here. I used my brayer to smooth out the transitions. Stamped the image onto white paper and heat embossed it in clear. Brushed yellow, orange, red and Medieval Blue over the heat embossed image to get that gradient background. Stamped the little figure onto scrap paper and used whatever color was left in the brushes to color it. I did mask off the hat, eye and belt, which I colored with markers. Cut it out and added gel pen highlights. Added the heat embossed sentiment. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration.
