52CCT Sketch Challenge

Hi Everyone, I am again playing along with  52CCT  - the theme is  a sketch. The slope of the sketch made me think of a wintersport - and that's why I chose that cat from Stampers Anonymous. I stamped the cat and colored it with alchohol ink markers. Used a round die to cut it out. Added it to my background paper, which is an out of stock Funky Fossil Designs paper. The little dots are a confetty stamp from Cats on Appletrees. This came together very quickly! I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Linking up with: 52CCT  - sketch Stamps&Fun= Creativity  - niedlich/cute  (I sure thisnk that cat is cute - but not everybody might agree, LOL!) Katzelkraft - Happy Easter Take I

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. It's almost Easter, so for the next couple of weeks you are going to see some Easter cards from me. I first stamped the little Pabos. Added the bunny ears (Stampers Anonymous) and masked it. I made myself a stencil with an egg die and sponged the eggs in the background. I colored the little guy with Copics. Added white accents. Stamped embossed the sentiment. It's a one layer card. The stamps I used are from the following set: Pabos Sherlock Holmes   - KTZ211,  Holiday Quotes  - KTZ207   ( FRANCE) Pabos Sherlock Holmes   - KTZ211,  Holiday Quotes   - KTZ207   (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Snowman and Deer

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Christmas card.  I am playing along with 52CCT - the theme is Snowman and Deer.   I used the beautiful  White Winter Magic paper pad  from Funky Fossil Designs for the background. The funny snowman and deer are a Stampers Anonymous set that I bought a while ago and have only used once before. I stamped the deer directly onto the paper. The snowman I stamped onto scrap paper and cut him out. I colored them with alcohol ink markers. The sentiment is from an Ellen Hutson set set. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Linking up with: 52CCT  - Paper Piecing

Winter Wishes

Hi Everyone, I took a month off making Christmas cards, but now I am back - I am so glad I made all those cards throughout the year. Last year was the first year ever where I had enough cards and did not need to struggle to make them at the last minute!  I am playing along with 52CCT - the theme is Paper Piecing.  I used the beautiful  White Winter Magic paper pad  from Funky Fossil Designs for the background and the snowman. The hat and scarf are from a bit of scrap paper. The funny snowman is a Stampers Anonymous set that I bought last year, but didn't have time to ink up. There is also a funny Santa and Reindeer in this set, but I was too lazy to do more paper piecing...The sentiment is from the same set - it's heat embossed. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Linking up with: 52CCT - Paper Piecing

Good Cheer

Hi Everyone, working on increasing my Christmas card pile..... I am playing along with the Christmas Kickstart challenge. The theme is Pawfectly Pawsome Christmas. Fabulous occasion to ink up my favorite Stampers Anonymous -Tim Holtz cat set. I don't think this card requires a lot of explanation.....Stamped the cat into the center. Colored with Copics. Added the sentiment. Put some shadows under the paws. Drew in some highlights with a white pen and added Stickles to the hat. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Happy Stamping! Katzelkraft - Meerkats Hearing Voices

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I let myself be Inspired by Isa C. Craft and her Facebook tagalong challenge , which this month is about paper strips and/or Washi tape.   I have a whole pile of paper strips from trimming my cardstock and for a while I had been thinking about using them. Now this challenge played right into that idea and it was now or never, LOL!  I sorted the strips kind of by matching colors and glued them onto a white card base. I stamped the Meerkats and colored them with Copics. and then I agonized over the sentiment (heat embossed from Stampers Anonymous) and how to add it. Finally I thought hot pink! I sponged the background paper for the sentiment and the remaining white areas ono my card base with Neon pink and that did it for me. Finally happy with the result!  That is the set I used: Meerkats  - KTZ216  ( FRANCE) Meerkats   - KTZ216  (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesda...
