Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post.  I used one of my smooshed backgrounds form my stash and added the sheep. Did a bit of coloring after I bleached out the background color. Hi Everyone, as you all know, Wednesday is Katzelkraft day on my blog. Except that today  is Tuesday, I know.... moved my post up a day to not have two posts tomorrow..... For today's post I created an underwater scene. I stamped the diver and the fish and masked them. Made the background with distress oxide inks and a stencil set by Honey Bee Stamps. The twirly things are from the set Whimsy mushrooms. Hi Everyone,  I have the great honor to guest design for my all time favorite challenge - the Twofer challenge from my blogging friend Darnell from djcardkreations. The theme is wheels.  Hmmmm, I thought, what to do with that???? Not exactly an easy theme.  I dug around in my craft supplies and found this bicycle die cut - no idea what company makes it. It had to do. I first made the card with the Cats on Appletrees animal stamps. I dotted the frame and added two heart shaped enamel dots, as it clearly needed more color. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches. For my second card, I die cut the bike wheel with fun foam and used it as a stamp. Stamped it with Versamark onto water color paper and heat embossed it. Then I sprinkled Brushos and spritzed with water. The sentiment is by Honey Bee Stamps, including the die cut. So, two different occasions. One card and encouragement card and the other is what I like to call an "any occasion ...

Hi Everyone, here comes my usual last minute challenge entry for the current Twofer challenge . As you all know,  the theme is blossoms and today is the last day..... So I  took an ancient stamp and made two different cards.....Card #1 as you can see just uses the flower stamp, whereas on card #2 the flower got re-purposed as wild hairdo for the grumpy Katzelkraft cat . Hi Everyone, a friend asked me to make a get well card for her - so I grabbed the deflated elephant from Katzelkraft - my go to stamp for that occasion. Its from the set Les Jungles  - I copied a picture below.   See all those fun critters?  I love them all - each one is so expressive! I stamped, water colored and Brusho'ed. Added the sentiment (Honey Bee). I first did not add splatters (card above), then I changed my mind. I like the splattered version better. Happy Splattering! Hi Everyone, I am so honored to be guest designing for  The Heart Desires  this month! It is such a cool online store - they carry a lot of brands and I am sure you are all familiar with their great challenge - they always have amazing mood boards to get your creative juices flowing! And here is with what I came up with for this month challenge : This is the mood board: I used a stamp set from Honey Bee and heat embossed one of those stamps. Just dabbed water colors in the challenge colors onto the blossoms and water colored the background. You can clearly see that I got inspired by the logo from The Heart Desires. It's just so pretty! I used some ancient DP as background. Added black splatters. I hope you'll find time to play along ! Happy Stamping!
