Guest Designing for the Dream Factory/Traumfabrik

Hi Everyone, Today I am honored to be guest designing for the current  Traumfabrik/Dream Factory challenge . It's a challenge about  movies and the inspiration will be coming from the movie  MAVKA - HÜTERIN DES WALDES  in English   MAVKA. The Forest Song . This is an Ukranian movie. The DT chose it to  honor this brave country, which continues to fight for its freedom! So you can put anything on your card that had forest and/or its creatures as a theme.  Here is the movie poster - perhaps it inspires you! The trees are from Rubbernecker, with a few selected ones from Lavinia. The cute forest animals are from Cats on Appletrees. Did some brushing for my background. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting and perhaps you'll find some time to play along with the  Traumfabrik/Dream Factory challenge Happy Stamping! Linking up with:

Day of the Month Card Club - Reminder Valentines Day

Hallo Ihr Lieben, Hi Everyone, ich will Euch an die  Day of the Month Card Club Challenge  zu erinnern. I want to remind you about our  Day of the Month Card Club challenge . Sadly I will be stepping down from the team. I had a great time for the last two years and enjoyed working with my team mates tremendously. However I have too much on my plate and need to have less responsibilities. Fortunately I can always play along just for fun! unser Thema ist:  the theme is:  Valentines Day I used this adorable stamp by Rubber Necker. I colored with Inktense and markers. Did some sponging on the background and added splatters. Die cut the frame and sponged it for more int...

Rats!

Hi Everyone,  more on the rat front today! Just in case you missed rat card #1, you can see it HERE . The rats are from Katzelkraft - they have real personality! Maybe I should name them.... Like on the first card I paired this rat with a sentiment by Rubber Necker - I like how they go so well together! I used Inktense pencils to color the rat and watercolor for the "floor" and splatters. So easy to make and so much fun to look at! This one I paired with a sentiment by Rubber Necker - I like how they go so well together! I used Inktense pencils to color the rat and watercolor for the "floor" and splatters. Guest Designing at Craft Stamper

Hi Everyone, I am so delighted to be Guest Designer for the July TIMI challenge over at Craft Stamper for week two of the month long challenge. The theme is easy - take a stamp! But is has to be the real thing, not a digi. Took me a while to figure out what to do..... I finally settled on that fun hippo from Katzelkraft. I thought it pairs up perfectly with the sentiment from Rubber Necker. The background I did with an ARTplorations stencil  (STAMPlorations) and the wonky stitched border is the brand new Cutplorations die also from STAMPlorations. Just imagine what else you could do with that fun stamp! Happy Stamping and don't forget to link up at the TIMI challenge ! Sprout

Hi Everyone, sorry for the second post today, but I really wanted to play in this week's CASology challenge and the time is almost up.... the cue word is SPROUT. I had the perfect stamp for this (for years, literally...) and  its NBUS. So you know why I needed to play....Believe it or not, but it took me 3 tries before I was happy with it. CAS is not always easy to achieve....I think you have all been there..... The delightful bean sprout stamp is by 100 Proof Press and the sentiment is by Rubber Necker. I sponged the background, stamped the sprout and colored it with a Faber Castell Marker. Added the black splatters for extra interest and some white gel pen accents. Also linking up with: Double D - yellow

Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #118

Hi Everyone, Its challenge time at  Addicted to Stamps and More  the theme is HOLIDAY for the next two weeks! I could not resist and choose Halloween - my favorite holiday and its coming up real soon, eeeeek......! Real scary this card, isn't it? I got his cool stamp at the Stamp Expo here in New Jersey in September - I had a lot of fun there, as you can imagine....That fabulous stamp is from Rubbernecker I colored it with Copics and fuzzy cut it. The grey panel I embossed with a Tim Holtz embossing folder and sponged it. "Fitted" it into the monster. Lastly i did not like a totally white background, so I sponged around with lime green ink. Lastly I added glossy accents to the fingernails and teeth. Scary, huh.... Now, our sponsor for the challenge is: http://www.eurekastamps.com/ I hope you come and play with us at ATSM and leave some love on the DT girls blogs - after all they have some fabulous inspiration for you! I am also playin...

House of Cards October Challenge

Welcome to the CAS challenge for this month at House of Cards . This month we are asking us to use a punch or a die in our creations. What could be easier than that? I choose to do a Halloween card for this, using an Tim Holtz die. I did a bit of sloppy sponging around the ghost face and mounted it onto black card stock. Since it was so super easy and quick to make this card I also decorated the inside: The sentiment stamp is by Stampin' up, the bats are from Rubbernecker.  If you dare you could  come on over  - our team has some fabulous inspiration in store for you! Booohahahah! I am also linking this card with  Virginia's view challenge #8  - CAS and The Paper Players - Halloween

Happy Halloween!

Hi, I want to wish you a Happy Halloween! and right for this occasion I have  - guess what - a Halloween card! I mailed all of my cards out, so I had to make a new one.... I used a chevron background stamp from Rubber Necker, which I heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I sponged metallic ink onto the balck cardstock. I used two different kinds of Washi tape - I just love how the grey Washi tape matches the chevron pattern - it has the same distance - what a coincidence.....The little tag is from an old Stampin' up tag set.  I colored the spider with a neon marker added some twine and a black gem. Of course, this card will go into a few challenges: Less is More  - use string or twine The Twinery  - Halloween theme Pinspired  -  Halloween theme CASology - Black --X-- I also wanted to share some Halloween cards I got - the first card I got from my blogging friend Susanne - perhaps you saw i...
