Money Book

Hi Everyone, today I don't have a card - I am showing you the playbook I made for my son for Christmas. He is a teenager and only craves money to spend on computer games.... so I had some fun, too, pulling out all sorts of supplies - Die Craft dies (Santa and Moose), STAMPlorations stamps (Funky deer), Memory Box (Santa hat), Santa Gnome (Paper Source) star panel and stars (Simon Says) and my favorite little devil (Alexandra Renke) - it turns into an angel, when you amputate the tail and horns... And lots of Washi tape, of course! It was a big success! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge - anything goes Sweet Stampin' Challenge - Santa is coming to town (and he brings and nice gift ...)

Neon Christmas Money Card

Hi Everyone, Its the holiday season, that means another holiday card, right? Well almost...... This is a birthday card with a holiday theme..... just open the window...... Here we go! Mr. Grant has put on his Santa hat! Made this card for one of my son's friends birthday. Supplies: stamps in the front are by Neat&Tangled Hero Arts neon ink daubers, Santa hat by Tim Holtz, birthday sentiment in vellum by Avery Elle. The window I partially die cut with a Simon Says die. Linking up with: Seize the Birthday -  use a holiday stamp Snippets Playground - use a snippet (Santa hat)

Money holders

My nephews are both teenagers and its is quite difficult to get them something they like. So I have reverted to giving money instead. This year I made them this money holder: So, first you need to slide over the red band  - and you see Merry Christmas  (from Papertrey - Mixed Messages) under a red, clear embossed bow from Prickly Pear) Then you pull out the ribbon labeled "2" - playing a little word game here with Ulysses S. Grant, who adorns the $50 bill. Once you pull ribbon labeled "3", you actually get the money. Here is a close-up. The scalloped oval is from Spellbinders, the grey oval a punch and the felt tree I picked up some years ago in Germany. The envelope is made out of patterned paper. I linked this up with the Anything goes challenge from Simon Says stamps .
