Twofer Challenge #13

Hi Everyone, I am playing again in the  Twofer challenge   - the current theme is STARS. No problem, I have lots of those. Since now stencils are on the allowed list I decided to go with this beautiful Memory Box stencil - if I remember correctly it has never seen the light of day... For my first card I sprinkled black Brusho pigments onto water color card stock. I got a bunch of backgrounds out of this one and decided to go with this one. Since the white background from the water color paper looked kind of blah I sponged distress inks on top. I also  outlined some of the bigger stars with a fine black pen. Added iridescent tape (with stars, too) and the sentiment (lil' Inkers). In teh end I also added some Stickles. For my second card I did the same thing. I used emerald and grey Brushos and used photo paper instead. Again I got a bunch of backgrounds out of this one. The cute dragon is from My Favorite Things, as is the sentiment....

Spots and Stripes and Muse Christmas Visions

Hi Everyone, for the Muse Christmas Visions inspiration you need to scroll down. I am playing along with Less is more - the challenge is just to my liking! One layer (my favorite) combined with spots and stripes - can't think of anything better! Made two cards - quite similar. I do like my first one better My supplies: Dotted circle by Altenew, sentiment Lil Inkers and striped star is a Simon Says die cut. I did inlaid die cutting, to make it one layer. For my second card I just rearranged everything. I am sure opinions will vary, which one looks better.... Now onto  Muse Christmas Visions : Kimberley Wiener is our Muse this month! And I cased her card like this: Here is Kimberley's card: You see how I got inspired - or better how I basically copied it.....Took that elegant wreath from Uniko and heat embossed it in green. Sponged distress ink onto the wreath and added those tiny berries. Added the sentiment, some Stic...

Simple Birthday Card

Hi Everyone, I am playing with  CASology  today, the theme is "Simple". I like that! Here is my simple birthday card: Took that adorable elephant from Lil Inkers and stamped him on the from of my card. Took another one and stamped him into the inside.  Added flowers, the hat and the sentiments (all the same set) and added the honeycomb balloon (I had that in my stash literally forever....NBUS...). added Perfect Pearls toenails :)   And then I decided on some Washi tape along the left front. Easy peasy, takes almost no time at all to make it and it makes me smile just looking at it! Also linking up with: Stamping Royalty  - Washi Tape Seize the Birthday  - anything birthday Naughty or Nice - Lets be silly Simon Says Wednesday challenge - something new (new stamp set and honeycomb paper never used before)   Keep Stamping!

A D@D Card

Hi Everyone, Fathers Day is coming - so you better are prepared ;) My friend Monika from Creative with Monika just joined the  DT at  Sunday Stamps  - so I had to play. They have a color challenge going on right now  -masculine colors in my book, so I made a Dad's card: I made myself a star stencil and did some sloppy sponging. The die cut and sentiment are by Lil' Inkers. Added Washi tape and enamel dots. I love that die cut. so clever! Here is the inspiration photo: I am also joining in with this month Lil' Inkers Meetup challenge  and  with Cardz4Guys  - make your mark Happy Stamping!

Neon Hello

Hi, you may have seen my first Neon Hello card (if not you can see it HERE ). Now I was not throwing out that negative die cut, but kept it to make a second card: And again, that sentiment is from that fun Lil Inkers set called Fine Print - I just love it!!!! You gotta look carefully here... Added some sequins and rounded the corners. Linking up with: Lil' Inkers Monthly Meet-up Bizzy Bec's April challenge  - anything goes

"Scary" One Layer Card

Hi Everyone, I had some serious fun making this card: Inked up glossy card stock with distress inks, Blowed some ink around and added those cute little monsters from  Flonz and this funny sentiment by Lil Inkers - Fineprint. You really gotta read this carefully :) Also added some splatters as you can see. Reminds me about Halloween - my favorite holiday! May be not CAS enough for some of those challenges I am linking up with, but I am linking up with them anyhow....   Lil Inkers monthly meetup challenge One Layer Simplicity challenge - blowing in the wind Less is More - one layer splatter The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers  - just kidding Simon Says Wednesday challenge - Make your own background Happy stamping to all of you and thanks for all your many absolutely wonderful comments - they always make my day!

Inkspirational

Happy Thursday everyone! The whole time I wanted to make a card for the current Inkspirational challenge  - its N E O N colors - just my thing! Finally I had an idea. ......actually was inspired my Maria Fischer from Rieslingmama, who a while ago made some super cool cards. Can't really find the one I am looking for, but THOSE and THOSE  are similar Took a snippet of glossy card stock and inked it up with Hero Arts Neon inks and then die cut the HELLO. Heat embossed the sentiment - both the die and the stamp are by Lil Inkers. Lastly added some sequins from the same left over card stock - die by MFT and rounded the corners.  Isn't that sentiment hilarious? I magnified it for you, so you can actually read it: Also linking up with  the Snippets Playground  - use a snippet Edited and linking up with The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - just kidding

Curing the Monday Blues

I am playing again in Taheera's Monday Blues challenge . The inspiration picture she has selected has quite a masculine vibe - therefore I made a Dad's card. Dads often are under appreciated I think - so lets honor them! I used PP as background. The D@D die cut is by Lil Inkers, as is the sentiment. The scalloped border is by Neat&Tangled and i used some home made enamel dots. The stiched rectangle is a Simon Says die. I am also linkin up with  S imon Says Wednesday challenge  - anything goes and  Simon Says Monday challenge  - no rules    Enjoy your day!
