Topflight Stamps - Media

Hi Everyone, This week it's all about different kinds of Media on the  Topflight blog . I used Fresco paints   and a visible Image stencil to make my background. I brayered the paints onto my gel plate and put down the stencil. Pulled the print. I brushed in the white parts left by the stencil with distress inks.  I stamped the fish onto scrap paper and colored them with alcohol ink markers. Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment. Lastly I added Crystal Lacquer to the fishes eyes and some googly eyes as well.  I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Fresco Aquamarine ,  Fresco Baltic blue Fibers stencil , Brayer   Gel Press , AALL&Create #858 AALL&Create #1038 , You are Fintastic Linking up with:

Topflight Stamps - Mixed Media

Hi Everyone, This week's theme is Mixed Media on the   Topflight blog . Not my forte I must say. But at least I came up with something I can live with..... I used a paper I created in my last Fresco Paints session using a Gel plate. I still had some bits on it from the last stencil I had used. Used some left over paint on a different stencil and pressed it on there. Anyhow - looks like a mess....I stamped the silhouette mushroom on the background. Added some die cut mushrooms, that I had colored to give them more life. Took a strip of wood paper, ripped the edge and added it. Mounted the whole thing onto a black card base. I figured it passes as mixed media - mono printing, die cutting and stamping. Next week will be better - I promise! I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Breakout stencil ,  Wood texture (used similar paper...

Topflight Stamps - Fresco Paints

Hi Everyone, This week we are featuring Fresco Paints from Paper Artsy at the  Topflight blog .  I used a brayer and applied different colors of Fresco Paints to a Gel plate. I started out with Banana, Tango and Cherry Red. Placed a stencil on top of it. Got myself two prints from that. Then I laid the stencil onto the clean gel plate and  brayered Baltic blue over it. Did another print - and that's the one I used here. The other ones I will use later. Added some dewdrops from my stash. The sentiment is from a Sticker book. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Lotus Mandala stencil (not the same I used, but would work)  Studio Light - Bold and Bright Fresco Banana ,   Fresco Tango ,  Fresco Cherry Red ,  Fresco Baltic Blue Speedball Brayer ,   Gel Press Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday c...
