Joy to the World

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Christmas card.  I am playing along with  52CCT  - the theme is "pale blue and red".   Those are pretty colors! I used a background stencil (Simple stories) and brushed it with speckled egg distress oxide ink. Used the same ink to stamp the sentiment (Tim Holtz). I added some red die cuts (Alexandra Renke and Impression Obsession dies).  I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Linking up with: 52CCT  - pale blue and red Ellibelles Crafty Wednesday - anything goes Nachteulen Schaffen Schoenes  - Weihnachten

Opinions instead of Presents

Hi Everyone, working diligently on my Christmas card pile..... I am playing along with the Christmas Kickstart challenge. The theme is Pawfectly Pawsome Christmas. Fabulous occasion to ink up my favorite Stampers Anonymous -Tim Holtz cat set. I sponged the background in green. Cased that from  Caly . I added water, white and black splatters to it. Stamped the cat into the center. Colored with Copics. Added the heat embossed sentiment with foam tape. Trimmed the card on both sides and added strips of stripy paper. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Happy Stamping! Inkspirational challenge - Warm and Fuzzy Cat

Hi Everybody, I had to paly along with the current Inkspirational challenge (see inspiration picture below). Besides that I was itching to ink up my new stamp purchase - those Snarky Christmas Cats from Tim Holtz (Stampers Anonymous). I used a polaroid embossing folder, that I inked up with a brayer, but then I didn't like the outside of it, so I just cut it away. I colored the cat with Inktense pencils. Those photo corners are an ancient punch from Martha Stewart. Instaed of teh tree in the picture I made a green background and took the color clues from the picture. Guest Designer at Archi-Scraps

Hi Everyone, I have the honor to guest design for  Archi-Scraps . I did win one of their challenges with THIS card and that gave me the honor. This card is for their current challenge and the theme is clock with yellow, black and white. I searched through my vast supply of stamps and actually dug up a few clock stamps. This one won out - it is from a Tim Holtz set (Stampers anonymous). The next tricky thing was the sentiment, but Katzelkraft came to the rescue. The set is called Adventure Begins . I used my Misti for this and stamped the clock in black on the yellow paper and with Versamark on the black paper and heat embossed it in white. Added whitish enamel dots. Hope you liked this and perhaps I could entice you to play along in their challenge ! Happy Stamping!
