Stempel Spass

Hi Everyone, This is my fourth week as Guest Designer over at  Shopping Our Stash  - in case you don't know its a weekly challenge, where you are supposed to use something in your stash - preferably something neglected ;) This weeks challenge is  Warm and Fuzzy (something that will keep you warm - anything from a fireplace, through warm hats and mitts to cup of hot chocolate) I pulled out my neglected knitting needles for this and started to knit a mini scarf - transferred it to toothpicks, when I thought it was long enough. Added the cat from my favorite Neat&Tangled set and the sentiment (Hampton Art). The challenge runs until Midnight November 28 - come and play along! Hi Everyone, This is my third week as Guest Designer over at  Shopping Our Stash  - in case you don't know its a weekly challenge, where you are supposed to use something in your stash - preferably something neglected ;) This weeks challenge is  Use something already out on your desk Now this a challenge to my liking - all that stuff that is clogging up my desk....This panel I made for my monthly Stamp Connection feature, just to try something out and then decided not to use it. Its embossing paste with embossing powder. Added the birthday die cut (CUTplorations) and the stamped wishes - also by STAMPlorations.The strip of striped paper is an envelope liner - almost my last snippet of it. The challenge runs until Midnight November 21st - come and play along! Happy Stamping!

Hi Everyone, I made two cards today - both for kids I know. The first one is going to a little boy - I hope he likes chameleons! I for sure do! I got those stamps on my recent trip to the Allentown stamp show and was itching to try them out . They are by Local King Rubber stamps . Aren't they amazing? The sentiment is by Simon Says. The chameleon on the right comes with a matching die, the other one I fuzzy cut. I mounted both with foam tape.  I am linking up this card with: Sparkle and Shine  - see inspiration photo below. Hi Everyone, I have not made a card in a few days now and I really wanted to make one tonight, but I wasn't sure what to do.... ....until I saw this weeks  CAS(E) this Sketch and then it clicked! Of course I had to squeeze in a color challenge and this week's  Color Throwdown  supplied just the right colors for what I had in mind. And what's even better I also could incorporate the theme for the  Shopping our Stash  challenge - something for the big boy! Now what a fortunate coincidence! A three in one! The stamp is ancient - bought a long time ago on one of those stamp fares and so far NBUS. The sentiment is by Happy Little Stampers, the set is called Mix Mash . I love it - great fonts and happy birthday in all sorts of different sizes. I stamped the skateboarder and masked him and then sponged the strip. Really quick. - Added an enamel dot, although I was wondering if it would trip that skateboarder and catapult him off his board.....

Hi Everyone,  a quick post -  Shopping our Stash  (theme - let it snow) is closing in a few minutes and I want to participate! It is snowing on my card, although not here in New Jersey. Rather warm for this time of the year.....  My friend Kim Heggins inspired me with her fun card she made for Double Click Skittles. All  my stamps are by Paper Smooches. I dry embossed the background and added Stickles to all those "snowflakes". Some PP on the side an an enamel dot. Also linking up with: Double Click Skittles - use a snowman Noor! Hi Everyone,  today is the fourth day of our blog hop at  STAMPlorations   - are you having fun? I sure do! This is a real easy card to make. Took that stencil, spritzed it with Dylusion spray , put it on watercolor paper and ran it through my Big Shot. Added the daisy and put Stickles into the center, although it dos not show well in the picture, but in real life it sparkles beautifully!!!! Hi Everyone, its snowing here in New Jersey! So I made a winter card for this week's Muse challenge . Marion Vagg made a real beauty this week for us to case - took me forever to think of something to do her card justice..... I decided to make a shaker card. Used my brand new stitched dies from Simon Says - made this real easy. I took that cute monster from Paper Smooches - Falling for you, stamped it onto a scrap piece of white card stock, masked it and then sprayed with Heidi Swap color spray. I lightly colored the monster (Copics) and then filled the inside of the shaker with sequins and micro beads. The sentiment is by Paper Smooches and YNS.
