The sentiment is also Paper Smooches - Christmas sampler, There is just something about those stamps that make me smile. They are just too cute, without being cutsie..... Here is the inspiration picture: Also adding this card to  Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - Winter and to  Simon Says Monday challenge  - anything goes Challenge up your life - Xmas without Xmas stamps Traumfabrik  - A Christmas Carol/anything Christmas Happy stamping and have a great day!

Paper Smooches and CASual Fridays

Paper Smooches has an inspiration picture for us this week and here is my interpretation: I took the PTI Take Three die to cut the squares. The rest is from the Paper Smooches Zoo Crew sentiment. the giraffe I cut and "stretched it across the center panel. Unfortunately I was too late for Retrosketches, but there is still time at CASual Fridays to play in the Three Thirds challenge - three squares, three leaves and la sty   I am linking this card with  Addicted to CAS  - off the edge - the giraffe goes through the frame...            And Paper Smooches has a guest designer search going on  - I'll give it a try, why not..... I hope you like it! thank you all for visiting and all you wonderful comments!  Enjoy your weekend!

Paper Smooches - and more cards to showcase!

I have been so busy the last couple of days - no time to make a card.... This one I made a couple of days ago and did not find time to put this blog post together and time is running out on the Paper Smooches challenge - its anything goes..... I used the Paper Smooches - Zoo Crew and Sentiment sampler for this card. The candle is from Michaels (I tilted the flame...) and the "make a wish" is by Avery Elle. I colored it with Copics and added  Paper Candy.  I am also adding this card to the Snippets Playground and to the Paper Smooches guest designer search for June Oh, before I forget - the STAMPlorations May release blog hop is still going on - visit and leave a comment - there is lots of stamps to win --X-- And now I wanted to share some more cards with you that I got from my blogging friends:  This card is from Di from the Pixie's Snippets Playground  - one of my favorite place to link up my card - if you are not familiar with it g...

Paper Smooches

Just discovered tonight, that the Paper Smooches challenge is ending soon.....another of my la st minute projects.... I used the set Zoo Crew and some Washi tape, because it is already getting late.....The birthday sentiment is from Paper Smooches - Sentiment sampler. The speech bubbles are Heidi Swap - I just scooped them up on sale at Michaels - it even included the cutting die - who would have thought....I colored with Copics and sponged the edges of the panels.  This is the sketch: I am also linking this card with Seize the Birthday  - anything birthday

Colorful Crocs

I have made that card for Anita's birthday with the Inkspirational colors in mind, but when I wanted to link it up I saw to my dismay that the challenge was over - obviously I had miscalculated....but the new challenge was up and I immediately fell in love with their inspiration picture - see below. This is my interpretation: I kept the center panel square for the fusion sketch and I also took over the repetitive flower pattern from the fusion picture. I colored the crocs with Copics. All the stamps are Paper Smooches. Added twine from the Twinery and a button. Why don't you all just add a button to your cards and play in the House of Cards challenge - it runs for two weeks This card just puts a big smile on my face :) Challenges:  Inkspirational Paper smooches  - anything goes Fusion House of Cards - add a button (I'm on the DT there so it doesn't count) Simply Create Too - animals (also on the DT) Muse       ...

Paper Smooches and CASual Fridays

Paper Smooches has an additional challenge going on as part of their anniversary celebrations. The theme is fun and cute - just the right thing for me! You can win cool new acrylic blocs - never can have to many of those, right? So I started to play. I just love interactive cards. I also got inspiration from CASual Fridays  - the theme is: not an A2 card. I pulled out my cute Paper Smooches set Zoo Crew and here we go - my card - it measures 4x6 : I first punched the circle. Then I masked a strip of on the front of the card and stamped the leaves and sponged over them. I stamped the sentiment onto the circle.  Then I put some eyelets in the card on top and two in the circle and threaded twine through it.  I stamped the crocodile on the inside of the card - I drew the opening with a pencil to know where to place it.  I used Inktense pencils to color the leaves and the crocodile. I doubled up the lid, to hide the back of th...
