Katzelkraft - You Talkin' to Me?

Hi Everyone, I am sure by now you have seen that there is a new stamp release from  Katzelkraft. I used one of the stamps designed by Maryse Carrier. I used an old background from my stash for which I had used the buttons background stamp from Darkroom Door. I had used a resist technique. I brushed over it with distress oxide inks.  I stamped the cat with the ladder and colored them with alcohol ink markers.  Cut them out. Stamped the sentiment  and doodled a frame around the sentiment. Lastly I added some Washi tape from Funky Fossil Designs.  The stamps I used are from the following sets: Ladder Cat  - SOLO175,  Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276  (FRANCE) Ladder Cat  - SOLO175 , Whatchamacallit  - KTZ276 (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - fur or feathers Traumfab...

Topflight Stamps - Bloom Bookmarks

Hi Everyone, This week it's anything goes on the  Topflight blog .  I decided on making some bookmarks with the pretty Darkroom Door Chrysanthemums. I used water color paper for my background. Sprinkled Brushos (yellow and blue) onto the paper and generously added water to have the colors blend. You can used regular watercolors for this as well.  I stamped the blooms and added a bit of focal color as well as some highlights with a Posca pen. Stamped the sentiment. Lastly I added some ribbons. I dabbed away some of the color from the above bloom, as it was a bit too dark for my taste. I alos added a bit of color to the leaves. On the bookmark below I added a texture stamp on the side and colored it in a bit. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Beautiful Blooms , Abstract04 Reading , Brusho Yellow , Brusho Prussian Blue Linking up w...

Topflight Stamps -- Explore London

Hi Everyone, This week is anything goes on the  Topflight blog . I snatched up one of the new AALL&Create die sets, as soon as it was available in the store - this one is called Numberama . You can always use some numbers - especially those, little distressed ones! They come with the awesome scalloped frame in a set. I stamped the bus and colored it with alcohol ink markers. I made a mask for it and brushed the background. Die cut the numbers. I heat embossed the sentiments and added them with foam tape. Cut myself anotyher piece of card stock and glued it to the back, so I have soem room inside it to write something and the card  can stand up on its own. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Numberama , Brit Bus Stop Studio Light - Bold&Bright ,  Blender Brushes Masking tape ,  Foam tape Linking up with: Simon Says Wednes...

Topflight Stamps - Life is Good with Katzelkraft

Hi Everyone, This week it's all about Katzelkraft on the  Topflight blog .    No complaints from me, LOL! It's one of my favorite stamp companies. Those stamps are ALWAYS good! They never go old and are just so much fun to play with! I have used them over and over again. Can't say that for many stamp companies.....Overall a great investment when it comes to stamps. I combined a couple of sets here. I started out with stamping the frog  and then lightly penciled in an oval where I wanted to flies to go. I drew in the strings. Then I decided to add the bigger flies. the coloring I did with alcohol ink markers. Added the sentiments with foam tape. The stamps I used are from the following sets: Frogs  - KTZ235,    Flamingoes and Friends  - KTZ224, Bugs and Insects , Celebrate Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Golden Rudolph

Hi Everyone, I am back with a Christmas card - trying to stick with my weekly card. I got inspired to play along with the Can you handle the pressure challenge and combined it with Christmas Kickstart I dry embossed the background and sprayed it lightly with shimmer spray - doesn't really show on the photo. I die cut Rudolph (Memory Box). I trimmed the card and added ancient Washi tape on the side. I also added some gold thread under Rudolph and gave him a red nose with a tiny gem. Added the sentiment (Darkroom Door) with foam tape and added a few enamel dots. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Linking up with: Can you handle the pressure challenge  - anything goes with an embossing folder Christmas Kickstart  - Meidas touch (add some gold)

Topflight Stamps - Red and Pink

Hi Everyone, This week's theme is "Red and Pink" on the  Topflight blog .  I guess it's because we are close to Valentine's Day. I first was hesitant about the color combination and it took me a while to come up with something, but I am quite happy with the result! I used this pretty flower from Crafty Individuals and colored it in red and pink shades. Did some light brushing with distress ink (Kitsch Flamingo) in the back of the flower. I added the stamp  Abstract 04  onto the side. Added the heat embossed sentiments with foam tape. I also added a bunch of gems for some sparkle.. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Flower CI560 , Abstract 04 Happy Birthday ,   Blender Brushes Foam tape , Glitter Gems   (not exactly what I used, but it would work) Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - Traumfabrik  - Sa...
