Stamp Connection #50

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2rd Sunday of the month and this is our 50th transatlantic get-together! This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements: try a new technique I choose the gesso resist technique that a long time ago was featured on A Blog named Hero . It is quite easy. You take a stamp and add gesso to it. wait for it to dry and then sponge over it. Wipe the ink from the gesso with a wet rag. I used a Hero Art background stamp. The die cut is from Altenew. I die cut it with black  card stock and glittered it. Lets check out   Tanja's artwork! Happy Stamping! Linking up with:

Two Birthday Cards

Hi Everyone, I am playing with my HLS stamps to take part in this month CAS challenge - CASE the designer. This month  it is the Queen of Clean - Shona Chambers from Twine Around ! Isn't her card fabulous!       I generally like one layer cards very much, but not for this CASE. Thought I have to come up with something different.... My version is not as CAS as Shona's - that's why she is the Queen of Clean... I used all HLS stamps and the butterfly die. The round circle is made with a SSS die and the little butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch. Added liquid enamel to the body of the butterfly and propped him up with foam tape. TCP Tuesday  - animals Stamp, Ink, Paper  - sketch, using a circle instead of a square       My next card I made for the Sparkle and Shine challenge   - they have an amazing inspiration photo this week - I could not resist! Used that fab background sta...

A2z Scrapbooking and Heat Embossing on Kraft

Hi Everyone, this is  Cornelia  here today using one of those cool Hero Arts background stamps - the Triangle Background (CG662). You can make really quick cards with those. I also love geometric patterns - so this is just up my alley! As you can see, I heat embossed it in white and then took my Inktense pencils and colored random triangle in rainbow colors. Cut the Kraft card stock slightly smaller than my card base and added the heat embossed sentiment  - its from am older Hero Arts set - also a geometric one....called  So Kind  (CL672). Could not resist and added some bling from my stash.  As you see - quick and easy. I like it! Perhaps you do, too :) I hope you will get a chance to join our  monthly challenge  - its all about embossing paste.    Remember - Hero Arts Products are required.  This challenge runs though the end of the month. You have a chan...
