And yet another Christmas card.....this one I made for the Paper Smooches challenge  - the inspiration picture is below. I stacked up various animals  from my sets and colored them with Copics in a muted color palette. The sentiment is also Paper Smooches - Christmas sampler, There is just something about those stamps that make me smile. They are just too cute, without being cutsie..... What else is new - another last minute project from me .... This time I combined both teh sketch and the inspiration picture from Your Next Stamp to create this shaker card. The sketch really looks like a snowglobe to me and I love shaker cards, so I went to work.... And here is my result: I used Paper Smooches stamps. The trees are actually green, you see this better below and its holiday confetti from Michaels, as are the little snowflakes. The snowglobe base is in real life more yellow, but looks like orange in the picture... I added wink of Stella to the white parts of the snowman's hat and that you can't see either... Here you can see the green trees: As luck will have it, my card fits the  The Card Concept  challenge perfectly  1.) A TAG or a CARD with a tag on it 2.) Snowmen, snow or any other "wintery" theme!  My card goes into the CAS category, of course. I like it, its cute!            ...

It's anything goes at Paper Smooches , which is just swell, since the AAA card challenge has a lot of requirements.... I had to pull out my Christmas stamps recently, so while they were out I figured I might as well use them... I made the corrugated paper strip with a paper crimper and punched some holes in it. The cute snowmen are by Paper Smooches- Freezy Fellas and the sentiments are Paper Smooches - Christmas sampler. I stamped those on acetate - for the plastic requirement. Added some twine and attached everything with a brad. I happen to really like this card - I first was afraid I wouldn't manage to keep things CAS, but I think I succeeded. One can never start too soon to make Christmas cards...right? I just kept all my Christmas cards out and felt like making one today! Aren't those snowmen cute? Its sequins and stamps at Stamplorations  and I made this shaker card using the child theme at Festive Friday . I love shaker cards - I made them before for children's birthday cards. I put sequins and microbeads into the shaker pocket. The snowman is an old Hero Arts stamp and the sentiment is by Paper Smooches - Christmas sampler.  I embossed the white card stock with my favorite Sizzix Embossing Folder and used some snippets of patterned paper as accents. And of course this card is going to joint the  Snippets Playground    and  Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - Anything goes

The theme is "STRIPES" at Paper Smooche s and CAS(E) this Sketch has a cool sketch to play with, which I posted below.  I am totally in the mood for holiday cards now, so I pulled out the Freezy Fellas set from Paper Smooches. I fuzzy cut the snowmen. the striped background is made with a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and the sentiment is also Paper Smooches - Christmas sampler. A bit of twine, to finish it.  Just a quick post today, gotta do some other stuff now... I am really in the mood for making Christmas cards this year and what is better than this super fun Paper Smooches set called Freezy Fellas? I fuzzy cut the snowmen. The frame I made with paper from Martha Stewart and the little stars are from Impression Obsession - with some Stickles.  The inside of the frame I sponged. Since Christmas is coming closer and closer I decided to make a Christmas cards for the Paper Smooches challenge. The cute snowman is from the Paper Smooches - Freezy Fellas set. I colored him with Copics and fuzzy cut him. The sentiment is from their Christmas sampler, stamped on a strip I had left over, which was already cut with the Papertrey Rickrack border die - how convenient. And that why this card will also make  it into the Snippets Playground . I mounted everything on a background piece of cardstock, embossed using a Sizzix Embossing folder. And of course some twine.  And this card will also participate in the CHNC extra challenge - anything Christmas and  Christmas Card Challenges  has an anything goes theme, as long as it's a  Christmas  card. Its a sketch challenge at Paper Smooches this week, which I somewhat loosely interpreted. I am really in love with that little gnome from the Paper Smooches - Forest Whimsy set. It just looks like a funky Santa to me and I think I will use it on many of my Christmas cards.... The sentiment is also Paper Smooches (Christmas sampler) - heat embossed in white and I used a Tim Holtz Sizzix Embossing Folder. The Santa is colored with Copics. Christmas Stamping All Year Long has mini cards as a challenge this week and the prize is 7 free digis from Bugaboo stamps. Now I am definitely NOT a fan of digital stamps, but I would make an exception for Bugaboo - they are just too much fun! So I checked on this challenge and there were 3 hours left! No problem - speed is my specialty! I had this negative die cut laying around form a previous challenge and it needed to be used, so I quickly threw this together: The die cut is from Memory Box - Scribble Tree, the sentiment is Paper Smooches - Christmas sampler. Some enamel dots and the card is finished! and who knows, may be I'll be the lucky one and get the luck of the draw;) And since I used some left overs I am also going to link this card up with the Pixies Crafty Snippets Playground , what fun! Another Christmas card to add to my growing collection..... Merry Monday  has this pretty sketch: I had to urn it around to make it fit my favorite Memory Box die  (Modern Landscape). I silver embossed vellum with Hero Arts Tiny Flakes. The ornament is Hero Arts Decorate your Holidays and the sentiment is Paper Smooches. I like the silver embossing - looks really elegant. I hope you like it, too!

I am trying to keep up with everything.....My Clean and simple Class, some challenges, life.... - what is better as to combine some of those things? Paper smooches  has this beautiful inspiration picture for their new challenge. Orange is one of my favorite colors, how can I not play? Day 2 of the Clean and Simple class has this pretty card in it by Debby Hughes , which I would like to show you, but can't - its class property. Anyhow she reminded us that we can use our dies to emboss paper and that's how this card came to be: And lastly this card fits the KIS challenge #6 - Dry embossing .
