Again our wonderful DT made some beautiful cards to entice you playing with your stamps or stencils - STAMPlorations or otherwise. And perhaps I can also inspire you to play along with us! I am playing with the birthday set Party Mates . Colored with Copics and fuzzy cut, mounted with foam tape. the sentiment is from  Holiday Artsy . I made the background with post it notes - just masked off the stripes and sponged them. Added tiny sequins and silver embroidery thread.         Here is another view: Linking up with: Friday Mashup  - all about 3 - combining the sketch and the challenge show CASe your style - color challenge Challenge up your Life - sequins     Happy Stamping!

iStencil Cards

Hi everyone, this is going to be a LONG post..... before I forget - you have to go and visit my amazing, creative friend Rahmat from Card and Cooking Corner  - "why?" You may ask, but you'll have to find out for yourself :))) - please leave her some love and tell her I sent you! As soon as I saw that inspiration picture from  Showcase Your Style I knew I had to play - just how to do this picture justice???? It took me quite a while to figure it out - I wanted the colors, the shine and the bubbles. I was playing around with one of those iStencil stencils making a card you'll get to see soon, when it hit me that it would work perfectly for the challenge - so here it is: It took a while to make this. I first sponged the background. Then I taped the stencil down and sponged in a darker shade again.  I then applied clear embossing paste and let it dry over night. (Did some touch up sponging again). I had to reposition the stencil and repeated, since i...

Addicted to Stamps and More #134 and Spotlight Sneak Peek

Hi Everyone, Its challenge time at  ATSM ! For the next two week its going to be CAS - just my thing! And hopefully yours, too! I made a birthday card, because for some reason I always need more and never seem to have enough.... I was inspired by this weeks Make it Monday , where the talented  Ashley Newell  shows us a video about  stamps and doodling. Since I  mainly own die cuts from Papertrey and not so many stamps that would fit this theme I made my own out of fun foam, using my latest Papertrey dies (just got the order a few days ago) and cut those in fun foam - it works so well - voila - you have our own stamps, spending only a fraction of the money! I doodled around the stamps as you can see. Gives you kind of a cool effect....a little more tremor and one would think I drank too much ;) Added tiny enamel dots - do you know about this month House of Cards challenge - its enamel dots - thought I'll let you know..... Our wonderful spons...

Snow Monster and Happy Mail

Hi Everyone, its snowing here in New Jersey! So I made a winter card for this week's Muse challenge . Marion Vagg made a real beauty this week for us to case - took me forever to think of something to do her card justice..... I decided to make a shaker card. Used my brand new stitched dies from Simon Says - made this real easy. I took that cute monster from Paper Smooches - Falling for you, stamped it onto a scrap piece of white card stock, masked it and then sprayed with Heidi Swap color spray. I lightly colored the monster (Copics) and then filled the inside of the shaker with sequins and micro beads. The sentiment is by Paper Smooches and YNS. Here is Marion's beautiful card: And here is another view of mine: I am also linking up with  Paper Smooches - anything goes Shopping our Stash - The Big Screen - this monster reminds me about the abominable snow monster in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer CASology - Monochrome Create somethin...
