Stempel Spass

Hi Everyone, you may know that tags are not my forte - in general I try to stay away from them.....but I tried it again, putting them on a card. First I used an old TCW Stencil and embossing paste, colored with Gelatos. The tags are a Mama Elephant die. The dandelion is an old Hero Arts stamp -one of my favorites - I do LOVE dandelions. The Kraft paper I die cut with a Simon Says die, as is the sentiment. the stamped sentiment is from the matching SSS stamp set. My favorite neighbor is moving away....she also loves my card and is one of my best customers....I rummaged through my card supply to give her some as a good bye present and I made that tag for her to go with the cards: The inspiration for this I got from Taheera's  Cure For The Monday Blues  inspiration picture and since I used gold embossing powder I am also linking this up with  Addicted to CAS . And since I had so much fun making the tag I made a second one:  Same color scheme - same challenges. And here is another picture: Its really hard to bring out the gold in the picture.... Great idea to make tags - I love it when something comes in handy! The  Papertrey Blog Hop  task is to make at least five tags and I just managed to make my five.....Its actually the first time I made tags, so this was a new experience for me. They are kind of cute little things to make.... I discovered, that I really don't have a lot of holiday supplies from Papertrey, but enough to take part in the hop.... All the dies are Papertrey, so are the stamps. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from my favorite set called Mixed Messages. The "snowflakes" are from the  Iconic Images set and I put some Stickles on them. And of course I used Twine from the Twinery on my tags. The tag die is from Mama Elephant                                                                         ...
