Funky Fossil Designs - Leyla with Polka Dots

Hi Everybody!  I am back with a card for  Funky Fossil Designs . I discovered that the Library challenge is active again and I wanted to play in it - the theme is  a book called "The Girl in the Polka Dress". Therefore  Little Leyla  was my go to stamp. I used the  Circle Cascade  stamp for my background and inked it up with two different greens. Stamped Leyla onto scrap paper and cut her out. I colored her with alcohol ink markers and added her with foam tape. I added Washi tape had the heat embossed sentiment (comes with Leyla). And playing on the polka dot theme I added enamel dots to the background. Supplies I used: Circle Cascade Little Leyla Monochrome Enamel dots I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: The Library challenge - The Girl in the Polka Dress

Crackerbox Stamps - Let Your Dreams Take Flight

Hi Everybody!   I am back with my  Crackerbox Stamps  post for this week . I let myself be inspired by July 4th for this card. After all it's coming up soon. Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. Affiliate links may be used in the links provided below.    I stamped the American flag first. I then masked it and stamped the white firework with Versamark and heat embossed it with clear, sparkly embossing powder, which unfortunately doesn't show in the picture.... Added the dark blue fireworks and the sentiment.  The stamps I used: American Flag Artsy Fireworks set of 2 Dreams take flight (on sale right now) And perhaps you want to check out those: I hope you liked this. Topflight Stamps - Visible Image Stencil Card

Hi Everyone, This week the theme is "anything goes" at the  Topflight blog . And there is a stencil sale still going on until the last day of the month - perfect timing! No coupon is needed.  I used an old background that I had used as splatter guard for sprays, but it looked too pretty to throw it out. I used the pretty flower stencil from Visible Image and sponged in three different distress inks colors (green, blue and purple). I shifted the stencil a bit and brushed again. Added white splatters and some Stickles to the center. The sentiment is heat embossed. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Flower Ink ,  Darkroom Door Celebrate Blender Brushes Linking up with: Stencil fun challenge - layered stencils Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - anything goes Color Throwdown - see below

Die cut our the words and used them on card #2. Added some  more die cuts for decoration. no stamping at all - I don't do that very often.... I hope you liked this. Topflight Stamps - AALL&Create

Hi Everyone, This week we are featuring  AALL&Create stamps on the  Topflight blog . Janet Klein came out with a whole series of artists and I fell for Salvador Dali. I tried to recreate his famous painting "The Persistence of Memory". Unfortunately the set only has one melting clock in it.....Should have also had some tiny ants....Room for improvement!  I first created the background, using masking and brushes. I drew in the  coastline by hand. I stamped Salvador and the clock-tree onto scrap paper, colored them with alcohol ink markers and cut them out. Added them to my card.  Stamped the sentiment. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Salvador ,  Blender Brushes Linking up with: Stamping Sensations  - anything stamped/CAS Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - anything goes

Guest Designing for 52CCT - Candy Canes

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Christmas card.  This week I am honored to be guest designing for 52CCT - the theme is "Candy Canes".   I had this set called Candy Cane Christmas (Simon Says stamps) in my stash for quite a while and had never used it. It was waiting for this challenge, LOL! I made a simple one layer card, starting with the sentiment and then randomly stamping the candy canes around it with a bit of masking where they overlapped. I also took a Copic marker and drew along the edges of the candy canes to give then a bit dimension. Otherwise they look kind of flat.  I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting. Go and play along with this fun Challenge - Christmas is not too far away! Linking up with: 52CCT  - Candy Canes I spy with my Little Eye  - anything goes
