 Hi Everyone, This week it's all about Katzelkraft on the  Topflight blog .    No complaints from me, LOL! It's one of my favorite stamp companies. Those stamps are ALWAYS good! They never go old and are just so much fun to play with! I have used them over and over again. Can't say that for many stamp companies.....Overall a great investment when it comes to stamps. I combined a couple of sets here. I started out with stamping the frog  and then lightly penciled in an oval where I wanted to flies to go. I drew in the strings. Then I decided to add the bigger flies. the coloring I did with alcohol ink markers. Added the sentiments with foam tape.  Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post.  I stamped the beetle repeatedly using a ruler to get straight lines. I colored it with markers. Added the sentiment (Quote Stickers) with foam tape and some thread. Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. This week I am staying CAS.  I stamped the lightbulb  onto the card.  Stamped the frog and insects. Re-stamped one of the insects onto scrap paper and cut it out.  Colored everything with alcohol inks.   I added it to the stamped image on the card. Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post.  This is a simple almost one layer card. I stamped the crazy  bird, hand drew the net and the fly. Colored them with alcohol ink markers. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and added it. Trimmed the card and added a strip of striped paper on the side.    Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I got inspired by the current Day of the Month Card Club challenge . The theme is "Carve a Pumpkin Day". I did not do any carving, but I choose card making instead, LOL! This is a postcard for a change. And it is one layer, so naturally I did a bit of masking. I sponged the background and colored with water color brush pens and markers. Added some white accents.   Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I am sure you have by now seen the new mushroom stamp set from Katzelkraft. I just love it!  I started out with the spider, stamped it and masked it. I stamped the mushrooms and cut them out. Stamped the Pabos and drew some wings on him. Colored everything with Copics. with water colors. Stamped the spider and mushroom again onto black cardstock (used a stamp positioner to make sure it fits and heat embossed in Pewter. Added white splatters. Assembled everything.    Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I am sure you have by now seen the new butterfly stamp set from Katzelkraft. They are gorgeous! I just had made a card with a different butterfly. You can see it HERE . I first stamped the light bulb and brushed it. I then brushed with background with distress and Adirondack inks. I stamped the moth and colored it with Copics.  Added a texture stamp on the left and plenty of splatters. Stamped the sentiment and added it. Also added the moth with foam tape attached to its body for dimension.  Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I am having so much fun with my Katzelkraft calendar. I am sure you can tell.... September is getting into fall and fall means mushrooms for me! Of course animals like mushrooms as well, so they are completing my scenery. I first stamped the foxes and then added the mushrooms. Colored with water colors, Inktense and some markers. The insect and mouse are stamped directly onto the background. Added some greenery and in the end added white highlights. Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I am sure you have by now seen the new butterfly stamp set from Katzelkraft. They are gorgeous! I just had made a card with a different butterfly. You can see it  HERE . I used shimmer paper for this card. I repeatedly stamped the dragonfly with my Misti - started out with the center one. I stamped the dragonfly onto acetate heat embossed it in black and and colored it with Copics and cut out the wings only.  Glued the wings onto the center dragonfly and colored the body of it. Stamped the sentiment, heat embossed it in white and added it with foam tape. You can see the shimmer and the dimension the additional wings add better here. Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I am having so much fun with my Katzelkraft calendar. I am sure you can tell.... August is dedicated to summer and not only humans like to eat water melon, but the rats and insects love it, too!  Now this big snake sneaked in somehow. It's not from Katzelkraft, but it is an old stamp by Hein Design. Unfortunately no longer produced. I wonder why. Such a great stamp - it actually comes in 3 pieces, the head, tail, a curved piece and a straight one. I did not use the straight one here. Anyhow with that you can make it any size and go in any direction. Pretty clever, right? The ants are by Cats on Appletrees. I started with the water melon, which I drew and colored with water colors. Cut it out. Sponged the background. I stamped the snake and rats, colored them with Copics and cut them out.
