Dad's Best Friend

Hi Everyone, I got some happy mail a few days ago - my Katzelkraft order from France! I have been eyeing those cute stamps for a while now and my resistance vanished over time.....Had to have them..... I just love that dog - hard not to.... Colored him with Copics , gave him some floor to sit on and added Washi tape. The sentiment is by Michaels  Linking up with: Twofers - animals Cardz4Guyz - Man's best friend  Scrap-Creations - Father's Day Alphabet challenge - F= furry friends Uniko - masculine/Fathers Day

Hats and Mustache

Hi Everyone, back to my usual CAS style - taking a little break from those crazy birds....as I said - I need a few more Father's Day cards.... I am playing with Mel's   which is pure fun - every day a different sketch for 7 days. I am trying to make all 7 days....kept it simple with Washi tape and a variety of hats from Studio 112. The sentiment is from Studio G.  so both real cheapo stamps, but fun! A D@D Card

Hi Everyone, Fathers Day is coming - so you better are prepared ;) My friend Monika from Creative with Monika just joined the  DT at  Sunday Stamps  - so I had to play. They have a color challenge going on right now  -masculine colors in my book, so I made a Dad's card: I made myself a star stencil and did some sloppy sponging. The die cut and sentiment are by Lil' Inkers. Added Washi tape and enamel dots. I love that die cut. so clever! Here is the inspiration photo: I am also joining in with this month Lil' Inkers Meetup challenge  and  with Cardz4Guys  - make your mark Happy Stamping!

Techy Guy Card

Hi everyone, I needed a card for my nephew's birthday - he is in college studying aeroplane engineering - I needed something techy...what better to use than my brand new iStencil for that! I made a one layer card. http://www.istencils.com/store/products/6x6-ptp-018-pacman-stacks The sentiment is by Papertrey And as luck will have it  - it fits the current challenge at Time out  - CAS, black and white with a splash of color. Also linking it with Cardz 4 Guys  - CAS Seize the Birthday - anything birthday AAA challenge - Bare naked CAS Sorry for my brevity - I am going away and I still have a ton of stuff to do - I might not be able to comment as much as I would like to, but I promise to catch up with you once I am back home!

Thanks a Ton!

Hi Everyone,  I am playing with the  Your Next Stamp  challenge, combining the color and sketch challenge (see pictures below). I love their stamps - they are so cute without being cutesy. The set I am using here is called Jungle Critters 2 .  I am always in need of thank you cards....... I stamped teh elephant onto shimmer paper, colored it with Copics and fuzzy cut him The eyes and toenails I accented with liquid enamel. the background I sponged onto watercolor paper using distress inks and then splattered water droplets on it. It does not show that well. I'm not sure what I did srong here - maybe its the paper???? The dark blue side strip I embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder.  On the picture below you can see the shimmer of the elephant a little better: Added Bakers twine.
