Stempel Spass

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our eights transatlantic get-together! This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements: Cute Critters + Christmas I bought this Purple Onion stamp last year and never used it.... time to ink it up! Colored it with pencils and added some glitter to the Santa hat. The hat is from the Crazy Birds addition. It has a good size and fits all sorts of animals. The hoppy sentiment is Stampin' up and the rest is Simon Says. Added a thin strip of PP and an enamel dot for balance. I just wanna kiss that frog - who knows what he will turn into? Pinspired has this great inspiration photo  - I like everything about it! The stamp used is by Purple onion design, the tiny bow is by Mama Elephant. I used some designer paper as background, the little berries I added with Stickles.     Here is the inspiration photo:            I have to be brief - I am still in Chicago at my meeting. I was forced to take took a little break from cardmaking - with school starting and work and family obligations, there was simply no time. This card I made for Jingle Belles  took several days - no kidding, but in the end, 5 minutes here and there add up to one completed card....Not that I really was alot of work. I show you 3 views, because the embossing on the middle panel is subtle and hard to see. I used a Spellbinder plate for it. The sentiment is from Purple Onion design and the Papertrey Rickrack border die. Some ready made foil snowflakes, PP and brads. Just a very quick post - before the sketch challenge closes! ( http://casethissketch.blogspot.com  ) I love their layouts. Unfortunately I missed the last two challenges - hurricane Sandy interfered. For this card I used Purple onion design sentiment strip. The bird is from Inkadinkadoo, clear embossed and  I used various punches.
