25 Days of ChristmasTags at Muse Christmas Visions

Hi Everyone, Muse Christmas Visions is tagging along - haha, pun intended with Tracey McNeely's wonderful 25 Days of Christmas Tags. Our theme for the current MCV challenge is Botanical. I am sure that will come easy to most of you! I am not a big fan of tags, so this is challenging for me.... It is what it is, right? At least I got the theme right. I used card stock I had previously used as spray guard and die cut my botanical elements (Papertrey). Added them onto a Kraft tag and splattered white paint onto it. I also added clear Nuvo drops onto the berries, to add some shine. I hope you will find time to play along with us at MCV . Link up your tag as well as link to Tracy's' blog. There is a lot of prizes up for grabs thanks to all those wonderful sponsors, see below: botanical

Muse Christmas Visions

Hi Everyone, it's my term for the next two weeks to be your Muse at  Muse Christmas Visions . I recently got  this wonderful stamp set from Rubbernecker stamps and had to use it right away! I first sprayed my background with Glimmer Mists. dried it and then stamped the trees. Colored in the sunset. Added the stars - they are heat embossed. The sentiment is from Neat&Tangled. I just love the shimmer! Have fun CASEing this. I can't wait to see what you will come up with! So come and  play along ! You'll have lots of time, the linky list closes at 7:59 AM EST on Monday, October 15th. See you at MCV ! Linking up with: Simon Says Stamps - getting ready for Christmas

Muse Christmas Visions #108

Hi Everyone,  for the next two weeks Kimberly Wiener is going to be your Muse at  Muse Christmas Visions . And here is her modern Christmas card : I went with the ombre coloring and 3 trees, which are from So Suzy Stamps (you can find them HERE and HERE ).  I also masked the center tree and sponged it in a lighter green. The frame I doodled with an Ellen Hutson sentiment nestled in between. Added liquid enamel drops, just like Kimberley.  Really simple.   Have fun CASEing. I can't wait to see what you will come up with! So come and  play along ! You'll have lots of time, the linky list closes at 7:59 AM EST on Monday, September17th. See you at MCV! Muse Christmas Visions #107

Hi Everyone, the current Muse at  Muse Christmas Visions  is Lindsey from  Bashful Blogging .   She made this FUN Christmas card: It cused me some problems, since I don't really have a good Santa for that and certainly don't have such a fun sentiment. But I immediately thought of my So Suzy supplies and came up with something that works. I just love the Cool Reindeer . And it goes well with the Jolly Surprises sentiment . the background paper I made with an old Hero Arts background stamp I hope you will find time to play along with us. The linky list closes at 7:59 AM EST on Monday, September 3rd. See you at MCV! Muse Christmas Visions #106

Hi Everyone, the current Muse at  Muse Christmas Visions  is Chriss Blagrave from Botanical Cafe .   She made this wonderful Christmas card: I had an old water color background laying around, that I kept for future use and it kind of fit. Little more yellow green, but I figured it would do....I used Papertrey dies and spruced it up a bit with gold metallic paper and red metallic berries. Added the striped paper for a modern vibe. and conveniently Chriss heat embossed her sentiment in white - so here is another similarity. I hope you will find time to play along with us. The linky list closes at 7:59 AM EST on Monday, August 20. See you at MCV! Linking up with: The Holly and Ivy Christmas challenge - anything goes

Muse Christmas Visions #105

Hi Everyone, it's my term for the next two weeks to be your Muse at  Muse Christmas Visions . I figured I put my Katzelkraft stamps to work.... This is such a fun set  with the exhausted Santa. The rest of the stamps are from a different set , also fun. Did my usual Inktense coloring and added Washi tape at the bottom. Have fun CASEing this. I can't wait to see what you will come up with! So come and  play along ! You'll have lots of time, the linky list closes at 7:59 AM EST on Monday, August 6. See you at MCV! Linking up with: The Merry Christmas Challenge - anything Christmas

Muse Christmas Visions #104

Hi Everyone, last time I did not find enough time to play along with my teamie over at  Muse Christmas Visions , but I couldn't let this current opportunity pass again.....  Our current Muse is Kimberley , who made this cute card: I don't own little girl stamps (not my thing), so I replaced her with a fox (Michaels). Went with a similar color scheme for the background (Hero Arts). Added the sentiment (Ellen Hutson). So come and  play along ! You'll have lots of time, the linky list closes at 7:59 AM EST on Monday, July 23rd. See you at MCV! Muse Christmas Visions #102

Hi Everyone, it's my term for the next two weeks to be your Muse at  Muse Christmas Visions . Wondering how I made this card? I started with a bag I got in Chicago - had to turn it into a card, no way around it..... I choose an uncrumpled section and did a lot of masking.... The  sentiment stamp is by So Suzy, as is the Santa stamp . I also added some water splatters, sequins and colored some of the windows yellow. Have fun CASEing this - you can even go with the recycling theme....The options are limitless ;) So come and  play along ! You'll have lots of time, the linky list closes at 7:59 AM EST on Monday, June 25. See you at MCV! Linking up with: Time Out - Holidays (it's a one layer card)

Muse Christmas Visions #101

Hi Everyone, we have a wonderful guest designer over at  MCV .  I am sure you all know her - at least the frequent players at Muse Christmas Visions. It is Pam   and she is one of our frequent players. A big hurrah for that! Her cards - pure eye candy! Her is her card . You see, I was right - eye candy! And sweet on top of it! I tried to come up with a similar background, but failed miserably.... so I took one of my brand new stencils (Carabelle Studio) and colored in some embossing paste. The dove is from 100 Proof Press and the die is by Papertrey. So come and  play along ! You still have a little bit of time, the linky list closes at 7:59 AM EST on Monday, June 11. See you at MCV! Linking up with: CHNC -  anything Christmas

Muse Christmas Visions #100

Hi Everyone, my teamie  Chriss  made a wonderful Christmas card to spark our imagination over at  MCV . This is her card: You see I basically went with the flowers. Although a Poinsettia is called a Weihnachtsstern in German, which translates into Christmas star - hence my stars. I first wanted to use gold paper for my sentiment, but then I decided against it and kept it light. Got some gold in the little stars and the Washi tape on the side. The stars are by Simon Says and the sentiment is from CUTplorations . Now, since its our 100th challenge we also have a lot pf prizes for you. So come and play along , maybe you will be one of our lucky winners! You still have some time, the linky list closes at 7:59AM on Monday, 5/28. See you at MCV! Muse Christmas Visions #98

Hi Everyone, my teamie Lindsey made an interesting Christmas card to spark our imagination over at MCV . I must say, it was a real challenge for me. This is her card: So, after some serious thinking, I went with the snowflakes and the blue color. The snowflakes are one stamp by Hero Arts, the sentiment is also Hero Arts, but a different set. I added some Wink of Stella and Perfect Pearls for a bit of shimmer. It does not show very well... I also added a poem to the inside of my card: This is by a British Stamp company. You have until Monday April 30th 8 AM to play along - what do you think? Do you feel the challenge? I am curious, with what you can come up.
