Woodblock Wednesday - Golden Wreath

Hi Everyone, I am playing along with  Woodblock Wednesday  from Amy Tsuruta. It's such a good excuse to play with my wonderful wood stamps! This stamp is actually a new addition to my woodblock stamp collection. It is  a gift from Amy - I won it at the last Woodblock Wednesday. Thanks again Amy, what a treasure this on is! I stamped the wreath (Stampington & Company) onto shimmer paper with Versamark and heat embossed it in gold. Added the die cut Thanks (Mama Elephant).  Added little red gems and a gold thread. Trimmed the card and put a strip of Washi tape on the bottom. It shimmers nicely. That wreath would also work well for Christmas cards. Hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! 52CCT - Christmas Mice

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Christmas card.  I am playing along with  52CCT  - the theme is Christmas Mice. What fun! And as luck will have it I just have the right stamp set for this - it's an old one from Mama Elephant. I stamped the mice, colored them with alcohol ink markers and used the matching dies to cut them out. I made a background with a stencil from Simple Stories. Die cut it with a stitched round die and put everything together. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Linking up with: 52CCT  - Christmas Mice Ellibelles Crafty Wednesday - anything goes Just Add Ink  - add wildlife Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - make it cute

Emboss Resist Christmas Card

Hi Everyone, working diligently on my Christmas card pile..... I am again playing along with the  52 CCT  challenge. This weeks theme is emboss resist. Cool, have not done that in a while. Always good to be remined about old techniques. I took one of my old wooden stamps (Penny Black) and stamped with Versamark. I then shifted the stamp a tiny bit downward and stamped it again with in black. Heat embossed in clear. And then I sponged around it in blue. The clear embossed Versamark part looks kind of like snow on the branches. A neat effect. I also added water splatters to create some "snow". Stamped my favorite sentiment (Mama Elephant) and added two gems. Mounted it onto a dark blue card stock paper. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Happy Stamping! Holiday Greenery for Twofer

Hi Everybody, I have not played in the Twofer challenge in a while, due to time constraints. But I made sure I am not missing it this time.  I wanted to use this wonderful die I recently won in an Instagram give-away by Poppy Stamps. Thank you so much Poppy Stamps - I love this little beauty! Here are closer views of my cards: This actually was the second card as I was not willing to throw out the negative die cut I got from cutting the white sprig for my first card. Thought it might look nice adding some vellum sprigs. It think it does. Added a gold thread and selective gold foiling. Also gold foiled the sentiment (Hero Arts). I just die cut the mistletoe in 3 different colors and tied them together with a red string. Added the sentiment and stars (Mama Elephant), as well as Washi tape. Added a bit of Stickles. Happy Twofing! Also linking up with: Challenge up your Life - black and white and one color (gold, first card)

Muse Christmas Visions#94

Hi Everyone,   I am playing along with my teamie Lindsey from Bashful Blogging at  Muse Christmas Visions . She created this delicate card, that has a dreamlike quality to it. Now you know, that soft colors are simply not my strong point. But I gave it a try.....   Here is Lindseys wonderful card:     I basically went with the layout and the colors, but turned it into a one layer card. The stamp I used is from Hero Arts. I used my Catherine Pooler inks (the baby colors) and my Misti to create this card. The sentiment is by Mama Elephant. I added sequins and sprayed the card with Shimmer mist - hard to see here but in real life it twinkles nicely!   You have until Monday Morning 7:59AM to play along. Would be great if you do!!!! Muse Christmas Visions

Hi Everyone, Muse Christmas Vision is in full swing and you really should join us! Chriss Blagrave mad this whimsical card - so stimulating and FUN to CASE! Now this is my take on it: This is Chriss' card : Somehow I was thinking purple and then I discovered she actually used rose.... oh well. It still works. Nobody says you have to use the same colors. The houses and sentiment are by Mama Elephant, the church is by Ellen Hudson. The stitched die is from Cutplorations. I already saw some amazing cards on our linky list! Go and check it out! Hope you'll find time to  play along with us  this month.  The linky list will be active until June 28th. Happy Holiday Card Making!

Hi Everyone, I am back with a card for the  Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies  November Challenge!  As the challenge says - ANYTHING is possible, just use your dies! The inside I did with stamps by Mama Elephant. the die is Lil Inkers. So come on and play along - that's what you can win: Happy Die Cutting! Linking up with: The Flower Challenge - special occasion
