Katzelkraft - Foliage

Hi Everyone, Today I have a bit of a different Katzelkraft card for you. I used the new plant set Foliage. It somehow turned into a sad card - possibly  a sympathy card. With different colors it may look more cheerful.... I used an ancient stencil for the windows and brushed with distress inks. Stamped the plants into the windows - and did a bit of masking to assure the plants stay within their window.....I added some milky dew drops from my stash. The pretty sentiment is from the set Enjoy Quotes. The stamps I used are from the following sets: Foliage   -  KTZ310,  Enjoy Quotes  - KTZ291 (FRANCE) Foliage  - KTZ310,  Enjoy Quotes  - KTZ291   (USA Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - anything goes

Twofer Challenge - Rain

Hi Everyone, I have not been playing with the Twofer challenge in a while, but I got some time today and went to work.... I got that beautiful raindrop background from Local King Rubber Stamps recently and thought it's perfect for the theme. I made a sympathy card - unfortunately due to COVID-19 I needed to make several of those and a lighthearted card to balance it out. I used those fun little Cats on Appletrees animals. The sentiment is by  Your Next Stamp. For this card I used distress oxide inks to color in the background. The sentiment is by Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Linking up with: Twofer challenge - Rain My Time to Craft - Rain NBUS#13 - new background stamp (second card) Craft Rocket Challenge - furry friends (first card)

So Suzy & Crackerbox Stamps - Gone from Your Side

Hi Everyone, I want to introduce you to a technique I just learned and totally love it. I saw it on my blogging friend Gundi's blog Papierelle   and knew immediately I had to try this! You should try this, too. it is super easy and Gundi has a linky party  - try it, link up you card and you might win a super cute little snowman stamp! But since this is my So Suzy blog post I used So Suzy stamps for my card. the wonderful stencil you can get in the So Suzy Store . The big butterfly you can find HERE and the little ones HERE .  the sentiment is HERE . What else do you need? Sandpaper (I used a block), a pencil, a sponge and an eraser. I like the knead-able rubber eraser - you can form it into any shape. Use the sandpaper to create graphite dust from your pencil. Adhere your stencil to your card base, so it does not slip and start sponging the graphite dust with your sponge, joust like you would use ink.  Stamp you stamps over y...

So Suzy Chrysanthemums

Hi Everybody, I am back with two cards I made with my pretty So Suzy stamps. I got inspired by the current challenge over at CAS Mix Up, where the theme is tissue paper and stamping. I had this pretty tissue paper lying around in my craft room. It has little specs of glitter in it- time to use it! I made two cards, just changed the background paper and the sentiment.  My stamp supplies: Chestnut Leaf,    Wispy Chrysanthemum , Simple Birthday , Wings were ready Lets get started: took my Kaleidocolor inkpad and inked up the Chrysanthemum.Stamped it a couple of times Added the Chestnut leaf with black Versamark ink. In order to tear the tissue paper where I wanted it torn I moistened the tear line with water and then it tears exactly there. Wrapped the tissue paper around a piece of white card stock and secured it with Scotch tape. also dabbed tiny drops of liquid glue onto the tissue paper to secure the front. ...
