Hi Everyone, its inspiration time at  STAMPlorations ! I am still in Christmas card mood.  Here are my supplies:      Holiday Sketches: Christmas Flower Mixed Media Elements WOW black embossing powder I stamped and heat embossed the poinsettia onto water color card stock. Sprinkled some Brushos around and spritzed it. I made sure to not spritz the inside of the flower. Added the sentiment, the frame and the sequins once everything was dry. I was inspired by Sandy Allnock , who made some fantastic cards using that technique! Hi Everyone, its inspiration time at STAMPlorations ! I hope you have it warm and cozy, where ever you are. My materials:         Caffeinated Christmas ,  Coffee Cup ,  Vignette: Christmas Block I colored white embossing paste with distress inks and smeared it onto the stencil. While it was still wet I sprinkled glitter onto the steam. Made a little see-through baggie for my tea bag (from some left over stamp wrapping) and adorned it with the snowflakes. Sponged in some distress ink and added the sentiment and some splatters. Here is my interpretation: As you can see I went with a Christmas theme. Used an ARTPlorations Stencil for the repetitive background. I applied Wink of Stella to the stars. The poinsettia is stamped and heat embossed onto vellum and fuzzy cut. And perhaps I can also inspire you to play along with us! I used the  Christmas Reindeer stencil  fro this card - doodled the reindeer and then masked it. Stamped the Poinsettia in grey around it and then sponged it in red, since I thought it needed more color. Holiday Sketches: Christmas Flower Lastly stamped the sentiment and added some Stickles to the center of the Poinsettias. So, are you  up for some doodling??? Hi Everyone, Its challenge time at  ATSM ! For the next two weeks the theme is Holiday - isn't it time to start making those Christmas cards? But it does not have to be Christams - any Holiday qualifies. And your wonderful Sponsor is - drumroll....!!!!! Prize is a $10 gift certificate I pulled out my all time favorite Christmas set  Oh, Christmas Tree!   and inked up one of the trees with Kaleidocolor ink, stamped ans masked. And perhaps I can also inspire you to play along with us! I went with one of my favorite old sets  Oh, Christmas Tree!  and inked up one of the trees with my Kaleidocolor inkpad. Mounted the sentiment made from a snippet of white card stock with foam tape and added gold thread with tiny gold beads. Added Stickles for extra glitter. And perhaps I can also inspire you to play along with us! I used the large brushstroke stamp and two different blue tones - the lightest color is the second stamp off the adjacent darker one. The poinsettia I stamped on vellum and heat embossed it. I fuzzy cut it , added silver thread and sequins. Hi Everyone,  the new STAMPlorations challenge starts today and you can guess what the theme is: Well....... it's I used the new set  Joyful  for this card. I colored the sled with Copics and fuzzy cut it. The sentiment is from the same set. The background I made with a  Sizzix Embossing Folder. The trees are Impression Obsession and the stiched landscape dies are by Mama Elephant. I actually used two, but you can really see only one. I used foam tape in different degrees of thickness to det those layers. Lasty I slightly sponged the trees and the background and also added some Wink of Stella to the sled and snowflakes. It gives it a nice sparkle, but you can't see it in the picture.... Our challenge ends November 30; the winner will be announced December 4!
