Topflight Stamps - Advent Calendar

Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  Every year I make and advent calendar for my daughter and this year I decided to use those awesome  Colourific Christmas minis  for it. I think they are made for just this purpose ;) I started out with white paper for the background. I stamped and heat embossed the mini stamps, after I used the window die (Hero Arts) to just emboss the impression on the paper, so I knew where to stamp. I colored with markers and then lightly sponged around the images with blender brushes to have some color. I used designer paper for the front of my advent calendar. The numbers are die cuts from Marianne Design. I hope you liked this! See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. Here are the stamp supplies I used: Use code  F UNSTAMPING   to get 12% discount at  Topflight Stamps . Advent Calendar with Cats on Appletrees

Hi Everyone, remember the advent calendar I made a while ago? I promised to show you the inside, once all the doors were opened. Here it is all assembled:  And here is the inside, before I covered it: It took me a while to figure out all  the colors. Occasionally I used a stencil for the background -like for the peeing dog, the jumping reindeer, the llama and the goat. And here it is once more in all its glory ;)  I had so much fun making it. But it takes time.....time well spent! Here is a picture of its outside, so you don't have to go back to the original post. But If you want to know how I made it, you will have to go there . I will definitely make another one next year! Happy Stamping! Advent Calendar with Cats on Appletrees

Hi Everyone, no card today, but I am showing you the front of my yearly advent calendar that I make for my daughter. My son prefers the chocolate one, those are easy... I used designer paper as background and die cut the windows with an Ellen Hutson die. I used a template by Julie Ebersole - you can find it HERE . If you are interested in more details - I have a photo tutorial HERE , that explains exactly how I made this. Just in case you have a few hours to spare to make your own advent calendar.... The numbered baubles are by Memory Box and lastly the animals are from Cats on Appletrees. If you are interested to see the inside - come back after Christmas, I'll show it to you.... Not much longer until Christmas! Happy Stamping!

Stamp Connection #20

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our ninth transatlantic get-together! This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements:  "Winter + not a card" So I made an Advent calendar for my son. He likes the kind with the chocolate inside. Its made out of toilet paper rolls. The numbers are stickers I found at Michaels. Topped it with a green bow and filled it with goodies ;)   Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge - gift it Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas challenge - anything Christmas Craft for the Craig - Christmas - anything but a card Lets check out   Tanja's artwork!
