52CCT Sketch Challenge

Hi Everyone, I am again playing along with  52CCT  - the theme is  a sketch. The slope of the sketch made me think of a wintersport - and that's why I chose that cat from Stampers Anonymous. I stamped the cat and colored it with alchohol ink markers. Used a round die to cut it out. Added it to my background paper, which is an out of stock Funky Fossil Designs paper. The little dots are a confetty stamp from Cats on Appletrees. This came together very quickly! I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Linking up with: 52CCT  - sketch Stamps&Fun= Creativity  - niedlich/cute  (I sure thisnk that cat is cute - but not everybody might agree, LOL!) Guest Designing for the Dream Factory/Traumfabrik

Hi Everyone, Today I am honored to be guest designing for the current  Traumfabrik/Dream Factory challenge . It's a challenge about  movies and the inspiration will be coming from the movie  MAVKA - HÜTERIN DES WALDES  in English   MAVKA. The Forest Song . This is an Ukranian movie. The DT chose it to  honor this brave country, which continues to fight for its freedom! So you can put anything on your card that had forest and/or its creatures as a theme.  Here is the movie poster - perhaps it inspires you! The trees are from Rubbernecker, with a few selected ones from Lavinia. The cute forest animals are from Cats on Appletrees. Did some brushing for my background. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting and perhaps you'll find some time to play along with the  Traumfabrik/Dream Factory challenge Happy Stamping! Linking up with:

GDT for the Dream Factory Challenge - Elliot the littlest Reindeer

Hi Everyone, Today I am honored to be guest designing for the current  Traumfabrik/Dream Factory challenge . It's a challenge about  movies and the inspiration will be coming from the movie  "Elliot the littlest Reindeer" . Don't worry If you don't know the movie. Anything Christmas is fine, as long as it somewhere features a reindeer. I started with selecting a background paper. This one is from the beautiful  White Magic paper pad  from Funky Fossil Designs. I stamped the sentiment first ( Vivas las Vegas)  and added the various reindeers ( Cats on Appletrees,Stampin' up). Added a little bauble to one of the antlers and some embellishments in the upper corners (Technique Tuesday stamps). Also added a brad and some red thread as well as tiny red enamel dots to the reindeer's noses. Below is the movie poster for your inspiration. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting and perhaps you'll find some time to play along with the  Traumfabrik/D...

Seasons Greetings in Pink, Blue and Purple

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Christmas card.  I used the fun color palette form the current  Christmas Kickstart challenge  for my card. I stamped the Christmas trees (Simon Says stamps) first and added some water and dropped some Dylusions inks on to the water puddles and moved them around a bit. Dried it. Added the sentiment and the animals (Cats on Appletrees) as well as some splatters. This card came together really quickly.  I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  Linking up with: Christmas Kickstart challenge  - Color Palette Fun

Woodblock Wednesday - Wrap Around Card

Hi Everyone, I am playing along with  Woodblock Wednesday  from Amy Tsuruta. It's such a good excuse to play with my favorite, neglected wood stamps! For this card I used my treasured Cats on Appletrees stamps and the bean stamp is from 100 Proof Press. I cheated with the sentiment (Funky Fossil Designs). Did not have a wood block stamp for this. But since the majority are woodblock stamps, I think I can get away with it..... Used my Misti to get all the beans at the same height, except the first one, which is ripped out by that beasty boar, LOL! Sponged the ground. Here is a better picture of the back and below you see a picture of the front of my card. As so often it is a simple one layer card. GDT for Day of the Month Card Club

Hi Everyone, I have the honor to be guest designer this month for the Day of the Month Card Club challenge .   The theme for this month is:   Squirrel Appreciation Day How cute is that? Although they can also be quite a pain in the you know where....especially when my peaches get ripe. Spoiler alert - I never get to eat any :( But they are cute and one has to admire their persistence, cleverness and dexterity! This card is easy. I took a page from a delightful Funky Fossil paper pad ( Mellow Moments ) and stamped on it. The stamps are from Cats on Appletrees, the sentiment is from a Funky Fossil stamp set. I doodled the frame around it. I also added some dots (Lavinia stamps) I hope I enticed you to  play along and link up here! Happy Squirrel appreciation day! Christmas Card with non-Christmas Stamps

Hi Everybody, today it's going to be not a DT post for a change. This has become quite unusual for me, as lately I have so little time for card making in my life. Too much work, that's what it is..... But I had to make this card for two challenges - one is over at Isa's Facebook group ( Tag along with Isa ) -  #tagalonglive10    and the other one is the  Dream Factory  (see themes below). I used my Cats on Appletrees stamps and drew Santa hats on all the animals. I doodled the ground they are standing on. I used a Funky Fossil stencil for the rays and a Memory Box die for the star. The sentiment is by Taylored Expressions Linking up with: Tag along with Isa  -  Christmas Card with non-Christmas Stamps  Dream Factory . - The Little Things Nachteulen Schaffen  Schoenes - es rennt, fliegt und krabbelt

Katzelkraft Calendar - August

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I am having so much fun with my Katzelkraft calendar. I am sure you can tell.... August is dedicated to summer and not only humans like to eat water melon, but the rats and insects love it, too!  Now this big snake sneaked in somehow. It's not from Katzelkraft, but it is an old stamp by Hein Design. Unfortunately no longer produced. I wonder why. Such a great stamp - it actually comes in 3 pieces, the head, tail, a curved piece and a straight one. I did not use the straight one here. Anyhow with that you can make it any size and go in any direction. Pretty clever, right? The ants are by Cats on Appletrees. I started with the water melon, which I drew and colored with water colors. Cut it out. Sponged the background. I stamped the snake and rats, colored them with Copics and cut them out. The insect is stamped directly onto the background. Added the ants. Added white highlights.    The stamps I used are from the ...

Funky Fossil Designs - Funky Fruit

Hi Everyone, today I am playing with some older products from  Funky Fossil Designs ! And since cherries are in season I went with them! Those  luscious cherries are from the set Funky Fruit . I masked the first pair and then stamped again and did another attempt at no line coloring. This time with Copics. I don't quite have all the reds for this, but somehow managed....I pieced the sentiment together with one of the sentiments on the set. It says "Thank you berry much". I did not ink up the "B" and borrowed  the "CH" from the much. It worked....  At first I just left it at that, but then I found it kind of boring. Added the black splatters - better. And then I decided to add some insects (from Cats on Appletrees) - isn't everything better with insects???? I hope you liked this. Happy Stamping! Heart Poetry with Cats on Appletrees

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I am playing along with the  Artpoetry challenge  over at Instagram. This week its about hearts poetry. I have been really enjoying this challenge so far! See the picture below that inspired me to make this card. My blogging friend Daniela from Stempelschublade  made me an extremely generous birthday present and sent me lots of  Cats on Appletree stamps, in addition to a LOT of delicious marzipan from Germany. Unfortunately I can't wait for the card to arrive - the challenge would be over.....But the inspiration was just too perfect. Had to go for it.... I drew out the letters and the heart and water colored them. Added the animals. Pretty self-explanatory, I think. This is the inspiration picture. It is drawn by Maria Carluccio . Totally awesome! Hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Ellibelles Crafty Wednesday - animals Fab n Funky  - feature a creature Na...

Happy Easter

Hi Everyone, I wish you all a Happy Easter! I used an egg die from QuicKutz. The cute little animals are by Cats on Appletrees. A real simple card. The  Happy Easter sentiment  is from Crackerbox Stamps. Love its pretty font. Crackerbox Stamps also has an Easter sale going on until Monday - 15% off everything and free shipping on US orders of more than $45. Great deal! I trimmed the card and added a strip of patterned paper on the side. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Easter and happy stamping!
