Guest Designing for The Male Room Challenge #137

Hi Everyone, I have the honor to be guest designing for the  current Male Room challenge , where the theme is "Landscape" in a male version! Thank you so much Male Room for having me! I had this landscape die (Altenew) in my stash - an NBUS, that I thought is perfect for this challenge. I took a paint chip to get the perfect color graduation, although for the middle color I had to take a different paper from my stash. The sentiment is an old one by STAMPlorations. So curious how you will interpret this theme! See you at The Male Room ! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge - anything goes

Stamp Connection #50

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2rd Sunday of the month and this is our 50th transatlantic get-together! This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements: try a new technique I choose the gesso resist technique that a long time ago was featured on A Blog named Hero . It is quite easy. You take a stamp and add gesso to it. wait for it to dry and then sponge over it. Wipe the ink from the gesso with a wet rag. I used a Hero Art background stamp. The die cut is from Altenew. I die cut it with black  card stock and glittered it. Lets check out   Tanja's artwork! Happy Stamping! Linking up with:

Stained Glass Technique

Hi Everyone, there is an interesting challenge at CAS Mix-up - its about the stained glass technique. It looks amazing, doesn't it. Although honestly I would change the name to pained glass technique. It's a pain in the you know where..... to put together. So you have been warned! LOL! But I persevered, although I wasn't quite sure why....I guess I know why. I knew it would look great in the end and be worth the effort - to send to somebody special, who appreciates it. As they have lots of tutorials over at the CAS Mix-up blog I spare you the details. The only difference on my card is that I used fun foam to build up the layers. Makes it a tad faster.... A detail shot for you to  see it better. The triangles are by Altenew . The background I made with a stencil by MFT (My Favorite Things). The sentiment is by Winnie & Walter. Twin Monsters

Hi Everyone, my friends twins birthday is coming up  - they will be 6 years old soon and every year they get their matching birthday cards. This year I decided to take those cute Katzelkraft monsters . The girl monster is pink, of course and she got some glitter spots. The balloon is from Avery Elle and the big HAPPY is by Altenew. The birthday sentiment is from The Ton. I colored her with Inktense. You can see the glitter a bit better in the above photo. Here is the whole gang: The boy monster I colored in blue, so creative, LOL! Everything else is the same, pretty much. as you can see, they are fraternal twins ;) Those are quick and easy to make. and those monsters are oh, so fun! Do you need those monsters as well?
