Topflight Stamps - Katkin Krafts Roosters

Hi Everyone, This week we are introducing a new stamp company on the  Topflight blog  -  Katkin Krafts . They have beautiful, intricate stamps - go and check them out. I stayed CAS here. I didn't want to take the attention away from this gorgeous stamp! I stamped the rooster and colored  him with alcohol ink markers. I added the borders for more interest. Didn't add a sentiment - I don't think this card needs one. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Katkin Kraft - The Roosters , Versafine Clair Medieval Blue Linking up with: Addicted to Stamps and More  - Make your Mark

Katzelkraft - Ginko and Co Take 2

Hi Everyone,  I have a variation on the ca bit of a different Katzelkraft card I showed last week here.  I used the new flower set Ginko and Co I made a watercolor background. Added some splatters. Stamped the flowers on it and doodled some "grass" at the bottom. I also added a bit more color to the flowers. I didn't think it needed a sentiment. This is a simple one-layer card. The stamps I used are from the following sets:   Ginko and Co  -  KTZ311 (FRANCE) Ginko and Co  - KTZ311,  (USA Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration. Topflight Stamps - Mixed Media

Hi Everyone, This week's theme is Mixed Media on the   Topflight blog . Not my forte I must say. But at least I came up with something I can live with..... I used a paper I created in my last Fresco Paints session using a Gel plate. I still had some bits on it from the last stencil I had used. Used some left over paint on a different stencil and pressed it on there. Anyhow - looks like a mess....I stamped the silhouette mushroom on the background. Added some die cut mushrooms, that I had colored to give them more life. Took a strip of wood paper, ripped the edge and added it. Mounted the whole thing onto a black card base. I figured it passes as mixed media - mono printing, die cutting and stamping. Next week will be better - I promise! I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Breakout stencil ,  Wood texture (used similar paper...

Topflight Stamps - Lavinina Stamps

Hi Everyone, This week we are focusing on Lavinia Stamps at the  Topflight blog . I also used  Lavinia Elements inks  for my cards. Those inks are super juicy, they react with water and they come in great colors! I started out with brushing the background with Lavinia Elements inks (see below). I added some water splatters. Then I stamped the seahorse with Versafine ink - this ink does not react with water. I added the other fish and the kelp and the bubbles. I then used a fine brush with water only and brushed inside the bubbles and the kelp leaves. The water moves the ink away and creates a lighter feel to the areas you used i t on - just like the eater splatters move the ink away. Lastly I added glimmer gel pen accents to the sea horse and some white accents as well. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Mermaid  ,   Greens...
