Stempel Spass

 Hi Everyone, This week it's anything goes at the  Topflight blog . I am very much into stencils right now. They are so versatile! I used the  Chou&Flowers Foliage Border  stencil and brushed it with distress inks (mustard seed, peacock feathers) and cut it out. I stamped the  Darkroom Door Fun Flowers  on a white card base. Added the stencil cut outs with foam tape. Heat embossed the sentiments and added them in. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration.     Hi Everyone, I made this card using two of the new release sets from  Funky Fossil Designs !  Here are the two sets I used:               Heartfelt Tree                                      More Furry Friends                                                       I wanted to get more stamping on this card, so I decided to have the designs wrap around and continue on the back. It's pretty simple. I did a bit of masking and just stamped. Colored with water brush pens  and then I decided to add the grass - made myself a stencil with a grass die I had is my stash. I just love the little scene I created. Those two sets are made for each other - since dogs always want a tree, right..... ;) I hope you...

Hi Everybody, Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps sale category this month is friendship. So I decided to make a card with that in mind.  Bad Ideas ,  Kitty Fun And that's how I made this card: I made the background with a stencil from Funky Fossils Design . Sponged once, rotated it a bit and sponged again. Colored the cat with Copics Assembled it and trimmed it to fit an A2 card with leaving white borders. I signed up for the  SOS February 2013 Card Chain Challenge , since its always so much fun, to get a self made card form somebody else. I treasure those cards and they usually stand on my mantle forever! I made this card for the "FRIEND" theme. I could not use the colors - too challenging for me - ha ha - just opted for the easy way out. Although this card is not my usual "style", so that was a little challenging. I used the Hero Arts Friends background, did a generous mask around the cute little Penny Black mice and slightly sponged over the background. Some of the friend words I outlined with pencil to add a little more color. The sentiment is also from Hero Arts (Spring Borders Cl 128) This card I sent to Sanna in Austria - I hope she likes it!
