So Suzy & Crackerbox Stamps - Candy Cane Christmas Time

Hi Everyone, I have been playing with the new  So Suzy & Crackerbox Stamps release . Here I am using the  Candy Cane . Christmas sentiment ,  Candy Cane I inked up a strip of Kraft paper with the candy cane and heat embossed it in white. Colored first the red stripes with Inktense Added the white used a green card base and stamped the sentiment Added a strip of glitter paper and my candy cane panel - used the Misti to line it all up perfectly Stamped the sentiment again. Toughed up the sentiment where the ink didn't take well because of the heat embossing. You can use a black Sharpie for that or an alcohol ink marker. Our current promotions: All Christmas Stamps  are 15% off in the month of November And t his wonderful sentiment  is 50%off in November

Advent Calendar with Cats on Appletrees

Hi Everyone, no card today, but I am showing you the front of my yearly advent calendar that I make for my daughter. My son prefers the chocolate one, those are easy... I used designer paper as background and die cut the windows with an Ellen Hutson die. I used a template by Julie Ebersole - you can find it HERE . If you are interested in more details - I have a photo tutorial HERE , that explains exactly how I made this. Just in case you have a few hours to spare to make your own advent calendar.... The numbered baubles are by Memory Box and lastly the animals are from Cats on Appletrees. If you are interested to see the inside - come back after Christmas, I'll show it to you.... Not much longer until Christmas! Happy Stamping!

Gilded Embossing Folder

Hi Everyone, I need to increase my Christmas card production.....just doing them all year long is apparently not enough.... So I pulled out my favorite Dixie Drafts dies (Santa and Reindeer), a 3-D embossing folder and a so far NBUS German sentiment set from Inkystamps. This was really quick to make. I embossed dark blue card stock and smeared Delicata ink on top. Die cut the Santa, deer and stars (Memory Box) from gold card stock. Assembled everything with some Washi tape . The sentiment I had put in my Misti and stamped it on both cards. Linking up with: Alphabet Challenge - reindeer (second card) Craft Rocket Challenge - Christmas is coming (first card) CASual Fridays - shades of gold (second card) AUD Sentiment Challenge - winter sentiment  (first card) Animals Friends Challenge - winter animal (second card) CAS on Friday - Washi tape (first card) Winter Wonderland - Christmas characters (first card)

Go Nuts on Your Birthday

Hi Everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!!! my friend Flo nudged me to play along in the current Night Shift Stamper challenge  . The theme is fall fruits. How could I say no...... in fact, it's my biggest problem. I just can't do it.  - Just discovered the link is closed, buhu..... But I kept it CAS - the fastest way to get a card done..... I wanted a graphic vibe. I picked an ancient Michaels 1$ stamp - the big acorn. To make it even better it was an NBUS I heat embossed it onto black card stock. Stamped the little squirrel (Cats on Appletrees) and added the sentiment (My Favorite Things). Would have been even better if it would say bloody birthday....I added those red splatters, since I wanted some color, but it just looks like blood splatter.... Hope you like it - despite those splatters.... Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Addicted to Stamps and More - CAS Watercooler Wednesday - anything goes masculine challenge Time ou
