There is a new challenge out there - I am sure you all know about it by now - its called The Cutting Edge , with Jackie Rockwell as the mastermind behind it! I wanted to play and I needed a card for my Dad's 95th birthday and since I had some time today I went to work on it.... You can see it a little bit, but I used some subtly textured paper for the card base (got this from my friend Anita from My Papercraft World ) and I use it sparingly, waiting for the right occasion. And clearly, the occasion could not be any better! I used my Papertrey RainbowStripes die and partially sponged it ini orange. The numbers are Papertrey too. The balloons are Mama Elephant. The plaid on them I stamped with Hero Arts Plaid Background stamp with Delicata ink - wanted to get the textured dots form the inspiration card in.
