Crackerbox Stamps - Snarky Retirement Card

Hi Everybody!  Crackerbox Stamps  had a few new releases and they were fabulous, as you probably know!    Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. Affiliate links may be used in the links provided below. I first stamped the bunny, masked it and then stamped the outhouse. Colored them with Copics. Took an Exacto knife and cut out the door. Heat embossed the sentiment onto some scrap piece of brown cardstock.  Glued it to the back of the card. did some more masking and sponged a bit for the background. Added the sentiment. The stamps I used: Outhouse Officially Retired Way to go Bunny Hug I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Retirement Card

Hi Everyone, my long-time dear work colleague is retiring to Florida and she needs a decent card to celebrate this occasion. I have worked with her for almost 18 years. I am happy for her to be able to retire, but I also have severe retirement envy.... I took two Your Next Stamp sets to make this card. The layout I took from the current YNS challenge. Used Simon Says stitched dies  to cut the circles and marked them on a piece of water color paper. Stamped the croc and flamingo and colored them with water brush pens and Inktense. Stamped the sentiment. Mounted the top panel with foam tape. I actually added on an additional page - it more a little booklet than a card, so that all my colleagues can sign as well. I attached it with Washi tape. You can see it peeking out a bit on the first picture. Goodbye Tension

Hi Everyone, one of my favorite clerks at work is retiring and you know what that means - I needed a card for her. That flamingo from Your Next Stamp is  my favorite for that. I just love his expression. I used the colors and ind of the sketch from YNS current challenge to get me started. Used an embossing folder as background and colored with water brush pens. Added some sequins. I love that hilarious sentiment. Can't wait for my own retirement... Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Your Next Stamp  - see below

Stencil Fun and another card

Hi, I recently discovered this new stencil company called i stencil  and had to order a bunch. This is the first card I made with my loot.... I just love it! I actually made it for the Just us Girls challenge, but then totally forgot to write up the blog post and link it....oh well. I do like the colors and of course that stencil, its so up my alley! The die cut is by Memory Box -  Poppy die, the sentiment is CASual Fridays and Simon Says stamps. So I am just linking it up with  CAS on Sunday  - Stencil it and with Seize the Birthday  - just going with the birthday theme. My second card is for Color Throwdown  - I not often succeed in making a card for a weekly challenge, but this time it worked for me.... I used a TAWS set for this - its called Tropic Topic , stamped it and fuzzy cut it. Puddled some turqoise at the bottom. The leaves are clear embossed on the green strip.  I added the sentiment - its from...
