Christmas Card with non-Christmas Stamps

Hi Everybody, today it's going to be not a DT post for a change. This has become quite unusual for me, as lately I have so little time for card making in my life. Too much work, that's what it is..... But I had to make this card for two challenges - one is over at Isa's Facebook group ( Tag along with Isa ) -  #tagalonglive10    and the other one is the  Dream Factory  (see themes below). I used my Cats on Appletrees stamps and drew Santa hats on all the animals. I doodled the ground they are standing on. I used a Funky Fossil stencil for the rays and a Memory Box die for the star. The sentiment is by Taylored Expressions Linking up with: Tag along with Isa  -  Christmas Card with non-Christmas Stamps  Dream Factory . - The Little Things Nachteulen Schaffen  Schoenes - es rennt, fliegt und krabbelt

Let it Snow

Hi Everyone,  I made this card  a while back and did not get around to post it. I finally have to show it to you, before the challenges I made it for are closing..... I used my Memory Box snowflakes and a We R Memory Keepers embossing folder (old by now). I spritzed the blue paper with Fireworks spray, before I embossed it. I also had spritzed the card stock for the snowflakes with the same spray. The sentiment is heat embossed onto sliver grey card stock. It is from Hero Arts. Stamp Connection #44

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2nd Sunday of the month and this is our ninth transatlantic get-together! This time we both agreed on the requirements: Black Ice Technique and Christmas This technique is amazing - you should look at THIS tutorial. It is quite easy to do. You basically Stamp on mirror paper and then go over it with Versamark and add clear embossing powder. I used a combination of products - the background snowflakes are by Hero Arts, The die cut snowflakes are by Memory Box and the sentiment if from Inkystamps. Here is a detail photo: Since I had made a big mirror paper panel I got a second card out of it: Did the same, but also dry embossed the blue card stock (Tim Holtz) after I sprayed the embossing folder wi...

Advent Calendar with Cats on Appletrees

I used designer paper as background and die cut the windows with an Ellen Hutson die. I used a template by Julie Ebersole - you can find it HERE . If you are interested in more details - I have a photo tutorial HERE , that explains exactly how I made this. Just in case you have a few hours to spare to make your own advent calendar.... The numbered baubles are by Memory Box and lastly the animals are from Cats on Appletrees. If you are interested to see the inside - come back after Christmas, I'll show it to you.... Not much longer until Christmas! Happy Stamping!

Gilded Embossing Folder

Hi Everyone, I need to increase my Christmas card production.....just doing them all year long is apparently not enough.... So I pulled out my favorite Dixie Drafts dies (Santa and Reindeer), a 3-D embossing folder and a so far NBUS German sentiment set from Inkystamps. This was really quick to make. I embossed dark blue card stock and smeared Delicata ink on top. Die cut the Santa, deer and stars (Memory Box) from gold card stock. Assembled everything with some Washi tape . The sentiment I had put in my Misti and stamped it on both cards.
