Stamp Connection #30

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our ninth transatlantic get-together! This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements: Halloween I took my all time favorite Stampin' up set and stamped and masked the pumpkins. I heat embossed them in clear and sponged around in purple using a die cut mask. Added the sentiment (Marta Stewart) and some ancient sticker ants. I was surprised that they still were sticky..... I also added white Sharpie accents. I just love how this turned out! Lets check out   Tanja's artwork! Happy Halloween everyone! Linking up with: Craft Stamper TIMI challenge  - anything goes CAS on Friday - Halloween Happy Little Stampers CAS challenge - one layer Inkspiration...

Hi Everyone, its sketch challenge time at STAMPlorations !  You'll see it below, but first my DT card:  You know I love Halloween, so I could not resist..... I was using the  Vignette:  Celebrate Artsy  to make this card - the ghost on the left is the real stamp, the one on the right is the same stamp, but inked up the backside of it. The  sentiments  are from Marhta Stewart and IO. Some sponging to comply  with  the sketch and Washi tape, boo-hoo! Our fabulous guest designer for this challenge is  Leslie  from The Crooked Stamper!  The PRIZE for this challenge: The sketch challenges are sponsored by our sister shop,  All About Scrapping . The winner gets to pick 3 DIGITAL products from the shop — any combination of  printable sheets ,  Photoshop templates , and  digital paper packs . Muse #77

I have not played with the  Muse  in a while - there is just too many challenges and too much other schtuff to do......but I am back with one card. Now you may wonder how I got inspired to do this, but honestly I did get inspired by Marion's cute card! What I really wanted is an animal hanging upside down, instead of being perched on a branch, so I rummaged through my supplies and only found a monkey and a spider.....I settled for the spider. Since I reversed the animal, I also reversed the sentiment, stamping it on top. I only did a partial frame with Washi tape.  So, here you have it - totally inspired!!!!! Supplies: Spiders - Studio G, web - Craftsmart, sentiment - Martha Stewart. I am also linking this up with the  July Linky Party  for a chance to win a $25.00 gift card in the  a2zscrapbooking Store. And remember - Halloween is coming sooner than Christmas - eeeeek!

Less is More and Mama Elephant's Birthday Party

I LOVE Halloween! So I made a bunch of Halloween cards today for the LIM challenge - one layer witches or wizards . I have no wizard stamp at all - my selection for witches is better... This is my favorite card - I may post the other ones some other time.... The witch is from craft smart, the other stamps are Martha Stewart. I colored it with Copics. I had to give her some googly eyes - I could not resist.... I am also linking this up with Inkspirational - Anything goes --X-- Watch out - there are a lot of pictures coming up...... And then I thought I share with you my fun afternoon I had yesterday. I went with Ren-Yi and my sister to the birthday bash from Mama Elephant in Hoboken. We went crazy with stamp shopping and we did some make and takes - below are mine. I used the set Winter Wonderland for it. The sentiment is from Merry Greetings.  The tags are made with their tag die cut set and I also used the Party set for it. So much...

Merry Monday #78

Here is  Merry Monday 's inspiration photo: I love Cardinals - with their bright red feathers they always stand out.  So I put little cardinals on my Christmas card. I used a background that I had already left over from a prior challenge, which I did not like - I spritzed ti with Mr. Huey, but fits this card very well. The birch trees are by Impression Obsession and the sentiment is Martha Stewart. I popped it up on foam dots. I am also submitting this to  Christmas card challenges CHNC extra challenge   - anything Christmas Die Cut Divas  -  Animals/ Fall Simon Says - use rubber or clear  stamp

Paper Players #166 and Freshly Made Sketches #107

Halloween is the theme at the Paper Players - the challenge is almost over.....So here comes my usual quickie: I used the set "Carved and Candlelit" by Stampin up. I clear embossed it and sponged around it.  The sentiment is by Martha Stewart. I think its the first time that I made a kind of CAS card for Halloween..... I am also linking this up with Freshly Made Sketches   and Creative Friday  #87 Spooooky Halloween Its late now... This week I have practically no time... Thank you for all your sweet comments - I will catch up with you next week....forgive me.....

CASology #61

Just a super quick post - I made this card for the CASology silhouette challenge , then got sidetracked by other stuff and now the challenge is almost over..... So I quickly finished the card and here it is: I masked and sponged the background Materials: Stampin' up, sentiment Martha Stewart, enamel accents (for the eyes)

House of Cards #2

The sketch challenge at House of Cards is cute and fun for this week. I picked up this cute Penny Black  spider stamp a couple of weeks ago and I was itching to use it....so I made an early Halloween card ..... why not, after all I have been making occasional Christmas cards for the last couple of weeks. I stamped the big spider web (no idea what company) onto grey card stock and cut out the circle with a Spellbinders die. The sentiment strip I made with a Martha Stewart punch and white embossed  the sentiment - also Martha Stewart. Added some brads and stamped the little spider into the net (colored with nail polish) I stamped the CUTE spider onto white cardstock, sponged around the circle a bit and colored the spider with Copics. I assembled the flap. Lastly I sponged around the edges of the grey cardstock. I know some of you don't like spiders, but this one is cute, isn't it? and the flap is FUN - right? At least I think so! This is the ske...
