Funky Fossil Designs - Gnome Be Mine

Hi Everybody!  Valentine's Day is basically around the corner and that calls for a card! Funky Fossil just released this wonderful gnome stamp in the store. It will be added as a a freebie to any order over 25 British pounds! I used a page from the  Bee Sweet  paper pad.  I stamped the gnome and colored him with Copics. Cut him out and added him to some dark blue paper. and added white gel pen highlights. I heat embossed the sentiment. I mounted the gnome on his background onto cardboard and left a strip in the back open to add as a guide for my sentiment strip. Added a heart to the sentiment strip Card supplies: Gnomeo Bee Sweet paper pad I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with:

Crackerbox Stamps - What the Duck!

Hi Everybody!   Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. Affiliate links may be used in the links provided below. I made this card with the recent release stamps from  Crackerbox Stamps .  There are lovely new stamps and sentiments. Go and check them out  HERE . I first stamped the two ducks. Colored them with Copic markers. Die cut the big one and fuzzy cut the little one. Used some foam tape on three sides of the back of the square panel to make it possible to pull out the sentiment. Stamped the sentiment onto a strip of paper to make it fit behind the square. Assembled the card using patterned paper. Rounded the corners of the sentiment strip. The stamps I used: Ducky Set of 2 Duck Sayings set of 3 Here is my card with the tab put back in. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! I stamped the funny faced alien on the inside of the card. I stamped the sentiment on the flap.  I stamped the  na na na  on the pull up part of the card. Topflight Stamps - Choose Happy with AALL&Create

Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  this week we are featuring AALL&Create stamps. I am sure you are familiar with this fun company! Those adorable figures are designed by Janet Klein - Topflight Stamps has quite a few of her stamp sets. This one is one of my favorites. I immediately knew what to do with it.  I first sponged the background and then cut the flap with a rectangular die, but I only cut 3/4 of it to leave the flap attached. Where you can fold it on top I scored it. I stamped the sad little girl and mostly got rid of the background with bleach. I colored her with Copics. I then stamped the happy little girl onto a white card, making sure she is centered in the opening. Colored her with Copics as well.  Stamped the sentiment. Assembled the card. Added a big red heart to help opening the flap. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. Here are th...

Stamp Connection #52

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2rd Sunday of the month and this is our ninth transatlantic get-together! This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements: Interactive Birthday Card I used the slider surprise die from MFT, which makes things real easy, although you could just make the whole thing with a rectangular die and a score board. The cute otters are also form MFT - the set is called otterly love. I had it forever in my stash until now NBUS, for no good reason. I used a Memory Box stencil to create the water and patterned paper for the rest of the card.  So cute! I have a lot of ideas of what to do next with this die - you'll see more of it, I promise! Lets check out   Tanja's artwork! Happy Stampi...

Rubber Dance Magic Fish Card

Hi Everyone, I love interactive card and especially those magic cards, where the color all of a sudden appears. So here you see the card with the slider in and below its out. My Stamp supplies: Fish Diet  Such a hilarious set, isn't it? And that's how I made this card: I stamped the fish I colored it with Inktense Stamped the fish again onto a clear acrylic sheet Took blue card stick and cut it to size Glued the colored and clear fish in, so they perfectly overlap Made the slider and added stops to the blue card base, so you don't pull it out accidentally and then glued it all together. I also added some green paper to the end of the slider, decorated it and decorated my blue frame. It's better to do this beforehand, because if you don't use heat resistant acrylic it can warp... And now the color magically appears if you pull the slider. See! You can make this in any size, that 's why...
