Sweet Reindeer

Hi Everyone, despite making Christmas cards all year long, I still din't have quite enough....  On black Friday I took advantage of the sale at Sweet Stamp Shop and got myself some goodies. This sweet reindeer is from my haul... I embossed the background with a Papertrey embossing plate. Stamped the reindeer on Craft and added white gel pen accents and a small strip of Washi. Colored the heart. Cut a strip of Alexandra Renke paper and assembled it all.  For the second card I took patterned paper as background and a strip of glitter paper. Added some stars from a stamp set, I don't remember the company... Quick, easy and cute! A Birthday Card for several Challenges

Hi Everyone, I made a birthday card, inspired by several challenges - they are all listed below. The colorful panel I made with watercolors and rubber cement, as the talented Lexi Daly show us in a wonderful video on this week Make it Monday over at Papertrey. I brushed on the rubber cement. the birthday is by Papertrey as well, heat embossed and fuzzy cut. The tiny hearts are a punch by Fiskars. the subtle stripes on the background are an embossing plate also by Papertrey . I love those colors - took them from the current Card Concept! Another D@D Card....

Hi, I made another Father's Day card in preparation for my little yearly card selling stint - the sold well last year - hoping for the same this year;) The clever die cut is  Lil' Inkers. The card base is dry embossed with a Papertrey embossing plate. The sentiment and thanks arrow are heat embossed. Added Washi tape and splatters. I die cut the D@D twice - once using yellow paint chip and the second time with fun foam - that is so much easier than die cutting it multiple times and gluing it all together. Besides that its nice and soft.... Materials:  die cut by Lil' Inkers,  Papertrey embossing plate, Michaels and Heidi Swapp stamps, Washi tape Linking up with : The Paper Players  - tic tac toe The Male Room - Washi tape Amusing Challenges - anything goes

1000 Thanks and a Big Hi

Hi Everyone, my son asked my to make a card for his teacher - he is a real popular guy and the whole class loves him. So a masculine card is in order and what better to use than the fabulous inspiration picture from  Papercrafting Magazine Mondays challenge! They are celebrating their 100th challenge - woot, woot - I am happy I can be part of this! Here is my card: I used the Rainbow Stripes die by Papertrey and did this as inlaid die cut technique with shimmer paper. the die cut sentiment is by Lil Inkers - die cut it from cardstock as well as fun foam - so much easier than cutting mutiple layers and gluing them together. This is just 2 layers.....The 1000 stamps are by Studio G - they are really alphabet stamps.....added some Washi tape.  Here is one of the inspiration pictures from the challenge - love this, just up my alley - graphic and modern. And here another view of my card: Linking with: Papercrafting Magazine Mondays ch...
