Stamp Connection #12

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our eleventh transatlantic get-together! This time it was Tanja's turn to pick the requirements: She picked "create your own background using small stamps". I took  that gorgeous W&W set My Precious , which has all those pretty little gems. I stamped them onto water color card stock and heat embossed them in white. I water colored them in and water colored the background. Added the big FRIEND - die cut it twice. Once with aqua paper and once with hot pink fun foam. The precious is heat embossed in white and cut at an angle for more interest. I also added some Wink of Stella, but it does not show on the photo. Linking up with: Winnie&Walter - Rerun - my...

Stamp Connection #11

Hi Everyone, Connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Tanja from   Little Art Cottage   and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our eleventh transatlantic get-together! This time it was my turn to pick the requirements: I picked recycling. If you wondered what I recycled here - I always put paper in my spray carton and have been saving it for some occasion - it always looks so pretty. So I finally found a reason to recycle that paper into a card. It would be a pity to throw it out, right? And this is one quick background you don't have to make. It makes itself....   The butterflies are by Poppy Stamps and Martha Stewart. the happy is by Winnie & Walter. I also added some of the die cut dots from the large butterfly to the card and an enamel dot. Linking up with: Poppy Sta...

Muse #156

Hi Everyone, I finally found time to play with the Muse challenge this week - I could not resist Michele's fabulous inspiration card... ......using Laura Bassen's camouflaging die cut technique - the outcome is guaranteed to please! I have done that before, so I didn't have to watch the video and its quite simple anyhow. You mask and sponge - I guess you could also use PP and them you die cut (keep those little pieces). Since I like to streamline things I die cut the thanks in fun foam, glued the card stock on it and fiddled it in. I love how Michele used the stencil to give it more umpfh! I did not quite sponge enough for that, so I simple added some clear embossed gems. You can see this better on the magnified picture and added some Wink of Stella and sequins. all my supplies are by Winnie & Walter. Winnie & Walter - Thanks

Hi Everyone, I want to say THANKS to Winnie&Walter for enriching the stamping world with their wonderful products and providing endless inspiration from their fabulous DT, Leading Ladies posts and now for their fantastic Birthday Bash celebration! This might not be my last card I made for the bash.... Trying to play with all inspirations. With this card I am joining in with the watercolor and gold inspiration by Heather . Again, the stamp and die are W&W. Did some gold embossing and some water coloring. I also did an inlaid gold glitter paper die cut under the faintly water colored THANKS - wondering, if I could link it up with the inlaid die cutting feature by Mayuri....I think I will let Mayuri decide - she can kick me out, if she thinks I am stretching this too far. I do like the effect - that thin glitter gold "shadow".... I you are wondering how I did those gold splatters - real easy - sprinkled water on the card, added embossing powder...

Winnie & Walter

Hi Everyone, I am  playing in Winnie & Walter's birthday bash. there are so many options to play along. Since I suspect that I don't have time to play in all of them I decided to combine some. All links are listed below. With this card I am combining the rainbow inspiration by Vanessa with the inlaid die cutting technique by Mayuri. Used distress inks for the rainbow. All the supplies are by Winnie & Walter. I love those little confetti stamps! And then I made a tag - also with Winnie & Walter supplies to play with Kate's anything but a card theme, taking the colors from Heather's color challenge - coral, lime and aqua.  Winnie & Walter - inlaid die cutting Winnie & Walter - rainbow Winnie & Walter - anything but a card Winnie & Walter - color challenge Also linking my tag with Seize the Birthday - no topping for me And linking the card with: Stamp Ink Paper - Love Basteltraum - Valentin...

Felt LOVE

Hi Everyone, the blizzard is still going strong, so what else would you do besides making cards??? I am playing in the Winnie & Walter rerun . I don't have the featured stamp set, so I made do with what I have.....both the die cut and stamps are by W&W. I am CASEing Heather's  cute little LOVE tag: Love how my card came out! I heat embossed the hearts and I used my sewing machine to add some stitching. Added some sequins. Also linking up with: Dies R us #41 - stitching TCP - anything Goes Had here is how things look like in NJ: Stay Warm!

Thank You and have a great 2016!

Hi Everyone, I finally got over my mental block for the  Winnie & Walter Rerun  and made another card! this time inspired by Heather Pulvirenti's glamorous tag. I took the Multifaceted die and cut myself a stamp out of fun foam. Stamped onto my turquoise card stock and heat embossed it in white. I cut it to size with a stitched die by SSS. The THANKS die is W&W, as is the sentiment. The diamond is by Ellen Hudson.    I just love to make my "own" stamps with fun foam. Cuts down on some of the expenses - you can just buy the die and make your own stamps. Also linking up with: Mod Squad challenge - one die cut Stamp Ink Paper - anything but Christmas As this is my last bog post for 2015 I want to tank all of you for joining my bog or staying with me. I love reading your comments, they brighten my day and keep me going and inspired!  I truly appreciate it. THANK YOU again and I wish you all a happy, healthy and cre...

Holiday Wreaths

Hi Everyone, I took some time to play in the current Time Out challenge , since Anita kept tempting me with her beautiful inspiration cards..... Here is the result: And this is the inspiration photo: You see I just recreated that door wreath.  My supplies:  wreath die and sequins dies by My Favorite Things Happy die by Winnie & Walter holiday sentiment by Neat&Tangled. Did some ombre sponging on the HAPPY and covered it with glossy accents. ________ And then I had that beautiful shimmer paper left over from my wreath die cuts. I cut it so that I can reuse it...in the past it would just go into a bin (and never reused....) but I am changing that - made two more cards.... Linking up with: The Christmas Card challenge  - see picture below The bow in the card below is also by MFT. The happy above also got some Delicata gold ink mixed in - gives it a wonderful shimmer. Also li...
