House of Cards Photo Inspiration - CAS and Classic and Elegant

Hi, friends!  It's time for another new challenge here at House of Cards !  We've got a fabulous one for you this fortnight and we cannot wait to see what you've got in store for us! This fortnight, we're asking for  CAS AND/OR CLASSIC/ELEGANT CARDS PLUS WE'D LIKE YOU TO USE THIS AS YOUR INSPIRATION ~ Use the colors, photo or both as your inspiration!!! Two FISH cards and a FUN evening!

 I had some ideas for the FISH theme at this weeks CASology challenge - and that's what I ended up creating: I used my Sea Mates set from TAWS for the first card. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday. The waves I cut with Lifestyle Crafts die out of vellum. The waves are held together by a Washi tape and bakers twine. The eyes I made with glossy accents and on the whale sprout I put some glossy accents - does not really show in the picture..... --X-- Here is a new challenge to link up with:  Go visit Stempelgaudi  and link up your favorite project from last month. Although this can be hard, to pick a favorite card ....For me it is.... I love them all......(almost all) --X-- My second card I modeled after the childrens book SWIMMY by Leo Leonni - it was one of our favorites when my kids were little..... This weeks runway inspired challeng e has again a great inspiration photo: And here is my take on it: The pink stamps are my own (see below , the sentiment is  a combo of Clearly Wordsworth and Hero Arts - Essential Messages (Cl371). I used Washi tape at the bottom, which I cut in half and splattered some blue/grey distress ink on top. I m very happy with the result, my husband was not thrilled, but my son liked it, yeahhh! And here is my inspiraton: This card  by Susan  and Tasnim , who reminded me that I can make my own stamps - I have done that several times before, for example on this card, where I made myself that background stamp: And here is a photo of some of my home made stamps using left over rubber from stamp sheets or craft foam, which also works great.
