Katzelkraft - Wintery Birthday

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. We just had a little bit of snow, so I am sticking with a wintery theme.Besides that I need more birthday cards.... I used an old background form my stash. I stamped the penguins on it and again onto scrap paper. Colored them a bit and cut them out. Added them to the images on the background. Stamped the scarf, hat and tie, colored them as well and cut them out. Added the to the penguins. Doodled the flower. I heat embossed the snowflakes and drew in some more. Sponged around the edges of the card with distress inks. Heat embossed the sentiment (ancient wood block stamp from Amuse) and added it with foam tape. The stamps I used are from the following sets:   Grumpy Penguins  - KTZ 145 ,  Accessories  - KTZ156,  Christmas Snowflakes  - KTZ282 (FRANCE) Grumpy Penguins   - KTZ145 ,  Accessories  - KTZ156,   Christmas Snowflakes  - KTZ282   (USA Hope you liked this - I'll...

Topflight Stamps - Where did the Sun go?

Hi Everyone, This week's theme on the  Topflight blog  is anything goes. My favorite theme! I used a fun stamp from Crafty Individuals  - one of my favorite British stamp companies. I love their whimsical stamps. and this one is perfect for winter. It's appropriately titled  Where did the Sun go ? I smooshed the background with distress inks. I stamped the birds on it. I stamped the birds again onto a piece of scrap paper and colored them with alcohol ink markers. Cut them out. I heat embossed some snowflakes onto the background. Left it without a sentiment - I don't think it needs one. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. But wait - we have a great sale going on right now: And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Where did the Sun go , Christmas Snowflakes - KTZ282 Linking up with: Simon Says Monday challenge  - let it snow Traumfabrik - Cobalt Blue (anything with b...

Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps - November Card Kits

Hi Everybody,  Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. Affiliate links may be used in the links provided below. I made this with one of the new November card kits from  Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps . The card base  is a bib overlay. The red front panel comes with it.  I stamped the mug on a piece of scrap paper and colored it with Copics. Used a standard 2 inch punch and added it to the card. You could just stamp it on the card, but I did not want to Copics to bleed through the paper...... Added the sentiment ( Hot Chocolate Hug ) to the card and the  Holly  branches, which I heat embossed in white.  Here are the two card kits -  kit 17  and  kit 18 . I used the stamps from kit #17. The Stamps from the kit:  Hot Chocolate Mug Hot Chocolate Hug Holly I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting! Happy Stamping! Linking up with:

Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps - Warm Winter Wishes

Hi Everybody, I have a winter themed card for you today made with Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps . My stamping supplies: Bowl and Cork Snowman Joy I used that bowl/snowglobe before and kept the mask I made for it. That made this really easy. I stamped the globe, fitted the cork in it with a stamp positioner. Stamped the snowman and masked it. Sponged distress ink around - also made a tiny mask for the reflection. Colored with water brush pens and added the sentiment (Cutplorations die). Splattered water, but it didn't show very well, so I added white gel pen "snowflakes".  During the month of December all the stamps in the shop are 30% off.  Copic markers and stencils are 20% off : Happy Stamping and Happy New Year my friends!

Let it Snow

Hi Everyone,  I made this card  a while back and did not get around to post it. I finally have to show it to you, before the challenges I made it for are closing..... I used my Memory Box snowflakes and a We R Memory Keepers embossing folder (old by now). I spritzed the blue paper with Fireworks spray, before I embossed it. I also had spritzed the card stock for the snowflakes with the same spray. The sentiment is heat embossed onto sliver grey card stock. It is from Hero Arts. Chill with So Suzy

Hi Everyone, So Suzy is going on a Christmas break and this is the last post for this So Suzy year.  My So Suzy supplies: Snowman Joy,   Chill I also used an embossing folder and a die. I first die cut the circle and stamped the snowman on it. Colored it with Stabilo markers - they are water soluble and they reactivate with water. I added distress Stickles at the bottom.  I embossed the white card stock and then ran it through my Big Shot to cut it.... You better do that the other way around, 'cause the Big Shot flattens the embossing....But I simply lined it up with the folder and embossed it again.    You should also stamp the sentiment first and not last....That is my usual haphazard way of making cards. But in the end, it usually works out somehow.... .....as you can see. I used foam tape to attach the circle. Now go and chill, before all Holiday madness starts! Happy Stamping! Lin...
