Stampotique - My House

Hi Everyone, squeezing in one more card right before Halloween. Made that with the creepy looking house from Stampotique . This was pretty easy - stamped and heat embossed the house on PP by Martha Stewart - they had a 6x6 block on sale at Michaels this week...The spiders were a little dull, so I colored them in with Copics and added white gel pen accents. One of the spiders  (left hand bottom) was outside the A2 card format, so I cut it out and added it with foam tape. also colored the house, as you can see.  Happy Halloween! So Suzy Snowflakes

Hi Everyone, I am playing with the latest release stamps, creating a Christmas card. I have been making them all year long, but I still have the feeling I am behind. Time to increase the production, I guess... My So Suzy Stamps: Snowflakes Large , Medium and Small , Noel I started out heat embossing those pretty snowflakes in white onto white card stock. Used distress inks to sponge a blue ombre background. Wiped off the excess ink from the snowflakes. I spritzed some water onto the card. Heat embossed NOEL onto vellum and added silver tape to my vellum strip. Love how this turned out! Creepy Spiders for the Stampotique Challenge

Hi Everyone, there is a new  Stampotique challenge  this  week - the theme is " Creepy or Scary ". Just perfect for Halloween! I used the treasure chest  and the spiders from this month release to create my creepy little scene. There is not a lot of stuff that creeps me out, but spiders definitely do. Although those are kind of cute, I must admit.... I sponged the background and colored the rest with Inktense pencils. Added Washi tape. Looking forward seeing your projects in the gallery ! Please remember you can use any stamps for our challenge and you are allowed to have 2 entries per challenge. From all the current months entries we will draw 2 random winners who will each win a 30.00 gift certificate on the first week of the following month. Creepy Stamping! Muse Christmas Visions 87

Hi Everyone, I am playing along at Muse Christmas Visions with our fabulous guest designer Elizabeth from Paper Sweetness. She did not make one beautiful card, but she made TWO!!!! Unfortunately I only had time for one card tonight and that is it. but we still have 4 days to play along - plenty of time to come up with another card, right? I took my latest favorite animals and stacked them up along the left side of my sponged square to CASE Elizabeths tree branches. I did not quite get the coloring right, but I was inspired by it and that is good enough.....Could not help myself and added a tiny splash of color with that Santa hat....  So here is Elizabeths gorgeous card that inspired mine:  I used Cats on Appletree stamps. The sentiment and the star are from Paper Smooches. I was thinking of heat embossing the sentiment in white, but I did not have enough time for my card to fully dry. so I just stamped it in black. So, you think you'll find time

Sorry at CASology

Hi Everyone, my friend Coni from Which Craft? is GDT at CASology and that means I have to play along. But I do like playing in CASology anyhow, although I rarely find the time. This time I made time. Funny how you always get stuff done if you really want to.... I was torn between using Katzelkraft rats or cats for the cue word - SORRY. The Big Cat #1 won this time. As usual I colored it with Inktense pencils and made her a Brusho "floor" to sit on. The sentiment is from STAMPlorations . Added a strip of PP at the bottom.  Happy Stamping!
