Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps - Cat Envelope

Hi Everybody, I love this cat from Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps. I thought she needs to adorn an envelope.  The sign she holds is big enough for an address. Cat with Sign This doesn't really need a tutorial, but I took some pictures during the process: I used my Misti to align the stamp correctly. Colored it with Inktense Added white gel pen accents to the eyes and fuzzy cut the sign after I stamped it onto white card stock. Glued it in. Added a matching postage stamp. Would you like this envelope coming your way? I will send it to one of you - selected randomly of all the comments left here, on my blog or on Instagram Our current promotions: Linking up with:

Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps - Chrysanthemum Birthday Wishes

Hi Everybody, It's Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps anniversary month and that is a good reason to celebrate. And you know what that means, right? Generous discounts, a possibility to win and FREE SHIPPING! All the details are listed below. My Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps: Simple Birthday Wishes , Chrysanthemum outline , Spray set of two I recently learned a new technique - the idea is from Hein Design and thought I share that with you here. You take some dark card stock and mask it with Post it tape or whatever you have at hand. Take some acrylic paints and a small sponge and sponge the paint in alternating stripes onto the card stock. Make sure the stripes overlap. Remove the tape and wait for the paint to dry. It doesn't take long. Use white acrylic pain, dab it onto your stamps of choice and stamp. Make sure to clean off the stamps right way with a toothbrush and water, to not have the paint dry on your stamps. I l...

Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps - Smooshing Distress Inks

Hi Everybody, I created a spring like card for you today with a smooshed distress oxide ink background. My stamp supplies: Spray set of two , Tulip . Dot Splatter And that's how I did this: I took water color paper and a small acrylic block. I wet the paper and inked up the block. Smooshed it onto the paper. Repeated the process until I was happy with the result. I took the stamps and stamped them randomly onto the background. Did some masking as you can see. I doodled the stems and the grass on the ground. Added Bakers twine. I didn't feel it needed a sentiment. Sometimes you don't need one and you can  use the card for whatever purpose you like. Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps with Alcohol Inks

Hi Everybody, time to showcase a few of the older Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps. Those flowers were created by Olesya from the DT and they are just gorgeous. My stamp supplies: Simple Birthday   Olesya Bloom , Olesya Side Bloom Curious how I made this card? I made it with alcohol inks on Yupo paper I started out with some clear alcohol - you can also use blending solution, but its a lot more expensive. I use 99% alcohol, you can get that much cheaper on the internet. Used my heat gun to blow out the ink (butterscotch) Added 3 drops of yellow. Waited until it was almost dry Sprayed it lightly with alcohol Stamped with Catherine Pooler ink . It looked a little feeble, so I heat embossed it in black. You have to be careful with the heat embossing, as the Yupo paper warps easily. Added little accents with blue ink and then added splatters. I heat embossed the sentiment using paint chips and mounted it with foam tape. ...

Hi Everybody, Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps is collaborating with  Rinea Foiled papers  this month. The papers are great quality and not at all flimsy. They are quite fun to create with! Since this month we are promoting St. Patrick's Day stamps (they are 30% off this month) I thought I make a card for the occasion. I dry embossed one of those lovely papers and punched out a few shamrocks. I also stamped a few small shamrocks and added the heat embossed sentiment - I mounted that with foam tape. Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps with Rinea Foil Papers

Hi Everybody, Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps is collaborating with Rinea Foiled papers this month. The papers are great quality and not at all flimsy. I was pleasantly surprised. They are quite fun to create with! And that is coming from somebody who hardly ever touches her paper stack (except for white card stock, LOL!) As Valentine's Day is coming up I figured I go with that theme. I took a cover plate and one of those lovely papers and die cut the hearts. Since the paper is double sided  - gold on the other side, i just took some of those little hearts, turned them around and glued them into the openings. I also glued some onto the sentiment strip. The sentiment is quite versatile and I really love the font - here you can see it a bit better: You can use that for a birthday, Valentine's Day of course or just to send a lovely note and make somebody happy. As you can see, I heat embossed it on black. I hope your day will be a happy one! ...
