  Hi Everyone, Perhaps you have seen that there is a new stamp release from  Katzelkraft. You will love it, I promise!   I immediately fell in love with that frog, so he is the first one here to make his appearance. I used one of my backgrounds that I made withDina Wakely gloss sprays. I stamped the frog and colored him with alcohol inks.Cut him out. Stamped the frog again onto my card base and added the cut out frog.     Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. This cool silhouette stamp was part of the new release  but until now I had not yet inked it up......Way overdue!!!! I first stamped the bare bush in the background. I then masked off the ground and brushed the background. I wasn't too pleased with my color choices, so I kept brushing over it until I found it acceptable - that's why you can see a few colors mixed together. I then stamped the animals. Added some white accents with a Posca pen. I stamped the wings of the dragon fly again onto scrap paper and cut them out. added them at an offset.  Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and added a few more Posca highlights. A simple one layer card. Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. It just was Coffee hop week, now that's an excellent reason to make a coffee card! As usual Katzelkraft has stamps for just about any occasion! I started out with a dark brown card stock and used the Funky Fossil stencil Caffeine Buzz for my background. I stamped the animals and coffee cup  and in part fuzzy cut them or used my Scan'N Cut.    I then colored them with alcohol ink markers.   Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I am a huge fan of  Karl Valentin  (1842-1948) a Bavarian comedian. He said a lot of funny as well as profound things and is still well known to this date. There is a little museum in Munich dedicated to him - definitely a worthwhile visit if you visit Munich and speak German...... This card uses one of his famous sayings. It translates into "I am happy when it rains, because if I am not happy it's still going to rain". He had a special kind of humor. I used one of me gel press background from my stash. I thought the frog is perfect for the illustration. I water colored him and cut him out. Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. This week I am staying CAS.  I stamped the lightbulb  onto the card.  Stamped the frog and insects. Re-stamped one of the insects onto scrap paper and cut it out.  Colored everything with alcohol inks.   I added it to the stamped image on the card.      Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I am having so much fun with my Katzelkraft calendar.  July is dedicated to summer and summer means beach, water and parties! The frogs are eagerly awaiting their friend arriving from far away to celebrate! But it has gotten late, the sun is setting..... I first stamped the frogs, colored them and cut them out with my Scan 'N Cut. Stamped the lighthouse and boat. Water colored the background. Colored the house and boat. Added the frogs and the calendar.  Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I let myself be Inspired by Isa C. Craft and her Facebook  tagalong challenge , which this month is about paper strips and/or Washi tape.   I have a whole pile of paper strips from trimming my cardstock and for a while I had been thinking about using them. Now this challenge played right into that idea and it was now or never, LOL!  I sorted the strips and glued them onto a green card base. I stamped the frogs and flies and colored them with Copics. I tore a trip of white sticky back paper and Added it and stamped the sentiment with my Misti to get a good black impression. Added the animals.   Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. Did you watch the Olympics? I did only a little bit. But I liked the lack of advertisements in the ice rink. Refreshing. Also liked the blue colors of the backdrop. So in honor of the Olympic games I made this card: I started with making the background. Made myself a stencil for it and sponged or better brushed. Added the sentiment. I stamped the frogs and podium and colored the frogs with water brush pens and markers. Brushed the podium. Cut them out. Glued the podium and frogs to the card. I trimmed the card and added a strip of patterned paper on the side.  Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. since we almost have Halloween I thought I am going to make one more card for this fun occasion! Thought that frog is just perfect for this. Sat him onto a broom and put the witches hat from the Accessories set on him. The sentiment is from an ancient Hero Arts set and the clouds are from Stampscapes. I masked the frog and hat and masked the moon. Sponged around them with distress inks. Used plain water for the clouds and dragged the reactivated ink into the clouds that extend into the moon. And that called for Katzelkraft's Farm Animals - they do love a good party.....although if I look at them I think only that frog is having the time of his live. The other ones are eagerly awaiting the cow. But lucky for them, she is just making her appearance! I did a tiny bit of masking and colored with Inktense pencils. The sentiment is from Joy Clair. Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. And since it's almost the middle of August we can start thinking about Halloween, LOL! What inspired this card was the sentiment (Memory Box) that I found in a local craft store on sale and I immediately thought of the bottle set. I filled the bottles with one of the insects and a frog.  I added another insect on top of one of the bottles. I colored everything with water brush pens. The sentiment is heat embossed. The ants are by Cats on Appletrees.
