 Hi Everyone, Today I am honored to be guest designing for the current  Day of the Month Card  Club challenge . This month it's all about National Candy Day - celebrated by dentists all over the world, LOL! Thankfully I had just the right stamp for it! Katzelkraft to the rescue once again! I combined it with some ancient patterned paper from my stash. I stamped the crazy animal with its big lolly onto scrap paper and colored it with alcohol inks. Cut it out. Stamped it again onto the paper and added the cut out. Also stamped, colored and cut out the Santa hat. Nestled it under the ear. Stamped the sentiment (Simon Says stamps) and cut it out as well. Trimmed the card and added a strip pf colored paper on the side.   Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I am a huge fan of  Karl Valentin  (1842-1948) a Bavarian comedian. He said a lot of funny as well as profound things and is still well known to this date. Recently I made another card with one of his sayings, you can see that one HERE This card uses one of his famous sayings. It roughly translates into "An optimist is someone who views things better than they actually are". I used an old gel press background from my stash. Added the orange border. Tore off the sides. Stamped the mouse and colored it with alcohol ink markers. Cut it out and stamped it again on my background, glued it onto the background. Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post.  I stamped the animal first and colored it with water colors. Added the gears. Did some more water coloring.    I added the sentiment. Sponged around the edges with a bit of yellow.  Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. It's my last Easter cards from me, for sure! I got inspired by Rosi from Daeny's Creations , who made a similar card a while ago. I just loved everything about it. So I modified is slightly.... I stamped the rabbit and colored him with alcohol ink markers. Masked him.  Sponged the background and did some stencilling (Alexandra Renke).  Lastly I stamped the sentiment.  Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post.  I made this card a while ago. It was a thank you card for a friend who took me out to an amazing Chinese New Year lunch. And since it's the year of the rabbit this stamp became the star of my card! I stamped him on scrap paper and colored with alcohol ink markers. Cut him out. Selected a background paper ( Mixed Media Vibes by Funky Fossil Designs) and added the rabbit with an action wobble . Lastly I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto matching blue paper. and added it. Trimmed the card and added a strip of blue paper to the side.  Hi Everyone, This week we are featuring Katzelkraft stamps at the  Topflight blog . I am sure you all know that love their stamps and by now have a large collection of them.  I started with stamping the frames. I masked the frames and stamped the animals inside, using a stamp positioner. I colored them with water colors. I doodled the hangers. Added some shadows to the frames to make them more dimensional.     Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I had to pull out that chess set again - It just is so much fun to play with! I decided to add that frightened dog to my board. Looks like he just lost his game.... I first stamped the chess pieces on scrap paper. Did a bit of coloring and cut them out.  I stamped the chess board and did some light sponging. Stamped the dog and colored him with water brush pens.  I then added the chess pieces to the board. I stamped the sentiment, doodled a frame around it and cut it out and added it. Drew in some light shadows for the chess pieces and the dog.  Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post.  I mam using another one of my gel press backgrounds. I really like how that one turned out. I stamped the dog directly onto the card. I stamped it again onto scrap paper and colored it with alcohol ink markers. Cut it out. Did a little bit of sponging around the edges. Added the critter to my card. Stamped the sentiment, doodled a frame around it and added it together with the dog. Trimmed the card and mounted it onto a white card base. Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post.  I made several gel press backgrounds and really liked that one, although it was just a byproduct from rolling off my brayer. I always use thick card stock paper for that, since I usually like the outcome and don't want to have to work with flimsy copy paper. I stamped the animal directly onto the card. I stamped it again onto scrap paper and colored it with alcohol ink markers. Cut it out. I added some green splatters to my background. Did some sponging around the edges of the upper part. Added the critter to my card.     Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. We are getting closer to Valentine's Day, so I made a card for this occasion. Thankfully you can use Katzelkraft stamps for just about any occasion! No special sets required! I used one of my left over backgrounds that had just a tiny bit of ink on it. I stamped the animal directly onto the card and masked it. Used the Wonky Hearts stencil from Funky Fossil Designs fo rmy background and shifted it. Brushed the hearts again with whatever color was left on the brush. Also brushed a bit more with blue in between the hearts. I colored the animal with water colors. Stamped the sentiment. Used a stitched die to cut the card to size and mounted it onto blue card stock.
