Guest Designing at Inkspirational and a reminder about STAMPlorations' blog hop!

I could not believe it when Marina from Inkspirational asked me if I wanted to be guest designer! I am still totally over the moon about it !!!! And of course I said yes. The theme for the next two weeks if FLIGHT Now there are many possibilities for that, but I choose to go with air travel.  I used an old stamp set from Recollections and combined it with my all time favorite Avery Elle set - To the Point. And then I was not sure if I liked the card enough, so I made a second card with rainbow colors.... I bent the triangle and mounted the plane on foam tape after I cut it out. So I hope you are as excited as I am to play with us for the next two weeks. Come on over to see all those beautiful card from the design team and get inspired! Thank you all at Inkspirational to give me this opportunity! And I'll see you at  Inkspirational ..... I am also linking BOTH cards with the current Avery Elle challenge - CAS --X-- ...

Avery Elle

Don't you love it - that inspiration picture from Avery Elle ? For me it makes a big difference if I am going to play in a challenge. this one really appeals to me -  probably because of those colors..... Hers is my take on it: I spritzed the background paper with Mr. Huey. I hung the banners from a piece of twine, fastened with bards - after I fuzzy cut them from paint swatches. I like the semi-glossy finish of those and they are nice and sturdy. All stamps are Avery Elle. Added some enamel dots. I am also linking this card with: Simon Says Operation Write Home   Pixie's Crafty Snippets Playground  (paint swatches again...)

AEI♥U

The July challenge is still going on at Avery Elle  and below you see the inspiration photo. I finally own some Avery Elle stamps, although I hardly used any for this challenge.... I cut out strips of colored card stock, adhered them to white card stock and put a clear acrylic sheet behind the colored strips. It was kind of hard to photograph this card, but I think with three different views you get how it looks like... I like the middle view best, where the light reflects off the acrylic.... The sets I used were Bright Days and To the Point. --X-- Ahhh, you guys seem to like my Germany pictures - I have gotten some very nice comments about them - thank you all, I love your comments :) So here are some more pics - this time as collages. We - my son and friends of us took the train to Tegernsee and hiked up the Baumgartenschneid, which is 1444 m high. The weather was not great, so we did not have a good view, but we enjoyed ourselves nonetheless! ...
