Muse Christmas Visions #107

Hi Everyone, the current Muse at  Muse Christmas Visions  is Lindsey from  Bashful Blogging .   She made this FUN Christmas card: It cused me some problems, since I don't really have a good Santa for that and certainly don't have such a fun sentiment. But I immediately thought of my So Suzy supplies and came up with something that works. I just love the Cool Reindeer . And it goes well with the Jolly Surprises sentiment . the background paper I made with an old Hero Arts background stamp I hope you will find time to play along with us. The linky list closes at 7:59 AM EST on Monday, September 3rd. See you at MCV! Joy Clair Stamps - 4th Anniversary Blog Hop

Hi Everyone, I am so honored to be part of Joy Clairs amazing 4th birthday celebration! I was on the Joy Clair DT for two years in the past and I was so happy to be invited back for their anniversary. Joy Clair has high quality clear stamps and some super cute sets. I picked my two favorites to make my cards. Now since this is a hop, perhaps you arrived from the talented Martha from StampArt Papel . Or you just happened to visit my blog.... Here is card #1: Aren't those kitties cute? I cut them twice with my brand new ScanNCut and glued them together with a string in between. Colored them and hung them into the die cut window. I used an MFT stencil to create the sky on the inside panel of my card. Added the sun on which I used a generous amount of Wink of Stella, although you can't see this in the picture. The stamp sets I used:    Get Well Wishes , Best Buds Card #2: For the second card I used a stitched circle die to cut the...

Hi Everyone, its inspiration time at  STAMPlorations ! And here is my inspiration card: My stamp supplies:     Fantastic word die ,  Party Time , Happy Flowers I used the stencil, laid it on water color paper and sprinkled Brushos on it. Added the sentiment and little left over scraps of patterned paper. Throughout July to September, all products are 15% off on TUESDAYS only -- no coupon needed. Lost Coast Design - Hard as Stone

Hi Everyone, I am playing along at the new Lost Coast Designs challenge - the theme is Hard as Stone. And since Halloween is almost around the corner, I went with a spooky interpretation.  I used the door from the set Door and Window  and colored it with water colors.  Stamped the skull and humerus from the articulated skeleton and fuzzy cut it. Placed them in the foreground. Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Lost Coast Designs - Hard as Stone

Twofer Card Challenge #8

HI Everyone, of course I had to play along with the current Twofer challenge . the theme is geometric - how could I not???? I did use a MFT stencil for this - turned out to actually be not allowed.....bummer. But I had a sneaking suspicion about this, so I made myself those tiny triangular stamps...... so forget the stencil  - I did use the same stamp on both cards ;) Look, here it is:  I don't think there is a size requirement for the stamps...perhaps I should read the FAQ's???? So I happily stenciled on both cards, as you can see. The happy birthday on the first card is by Neat&Tangled, the die cut thanks is by CUTplorations. Added my tiny stamps. That was so much fun to make! I also cut two of the triangles on the first card - the bright blue and yellow ones and mounted them with foam tape for some dimension. The bright pink triangles on the second card I simply masked. I die cut the thanks twice - with black fun foam and neon ...

My Sweet Petunia and Crackerbox/So Suzy Blog Hop

Hi Everone, I am delighted to be on the MISTI and Crackerblox&So Suzy Stamps blog hop! Perhaps you came from the talented  Jeanne Streiff After all I really treasure my MISTI and rarely ever make a card without it! I was curious about the creative corners and I am going to show you haw to use them. Quoting from Simon Says Stamps: These magnetic corners and positioning pieces combine to provide even more possibilities for precision stamping. Create angled designs with diagonal positions for perfectly aligned stamping, card layers, tape or embellishments. Also use as internal bumpers and additional corners for the MISTI. Magnetic corners are used to create off the edge designs, as well as opportunities for precisely layered, spotlighted or telescoped designs with no measuring. The two corners and two triangles also work in the mini  MISTI . The L-ruler only works with the regular size. And here is my card: I put the magnetic bumper into ...
