Stempel Spass

The Play Date Cafe challenge #171 : I split this up into two separate blog entries, so that I can link each card separately.  The second card is made with Papertrey  vase dies, Hero Arts sentiment and the flowers are Sparkles and Sprinkle and Stampin' up, colored with Copics and embellisehd with Perfect Pearls and Stickles.  I hope you like them! As usual - kind of a t the last minute, I made a crad for the  CAS-ual Fridays challenge#83 , which this time has teamed up with Paulina's 10 minute craft dash . Since New Year is part of the holiday season, I thought this card is just right. The frog is from Sparkles and Sprinkles, the sentiment is Hera Arts. I clear embossed the frog - thinking that would make coloring easier. I used my Copic markers. I masked the "Y" from year, since the Martini glass has a perfect "Y"-shape. My husband however went: "Happy New EAR - what's that?" It took me exactly 9 minutes and 23 seconds to make this card. I also drew inspiration from the ever so clever Ardyth , who used a baby bottle to stand for the "i" in girl. I also submitted this card to the Less is More challenge - the theme is "drinks" and to the CASology #25 challenge  - the theme is "NEW".

Finally done with my Christmas cards - time to move on to New Year cards. This one I made for the KIS challenge "Pelzig" , which means furry. The mouse is from stampabilities (Oh Happy Days), the "firework" is a chrysanthemum form Sparkles and Sprinkles and the sentiment is Hero Arts (Holiday Wishes). I colored the mouse with Copics and put Stickles on the firework.   I also linked this up with the Paperminutes Happy New Year challenge.
