Guest Designing for The Male Room Challenge #137

Hi Everyone, I have the honor to be guest designing for the  current Male Room challenge , where the theme is "Landscape" in a male version! Thank you so much Male Room for having me! I had this landscape die (Altenew) in my stash - an NBUS, that I thought is perfect for this challenge. I took a paint chip to get the perfect color graduation, although for the middle color I had to take a different paper from my stash. The sentiment is an old one by STAMPlorations. So curious how you will interpret this theme! See you at The Male Room ! Linking up with: Simon Says Wednesday challenge - anything goes

Washi Tape Fun!

Hi Everyone, I got this Washi tape combo at my Michaels recently and my fingers have been itching to use it! And as luck will have it - The Male Rooms current challenge is all about Washi tape! So this is one super fast card. Took my neon ink daubers fromHero Arts and smashed them onto card stock. After the color dried I added those funny faces from YNS and heat embossed them to make sure the ink doesn't smudge. Added white to the eyes and red to the tongues;  and of course the Washi tape. This also loosely follows the sketch in the current YNS challenge , so I am linking up with them.     Go and get your Washi tape out!

4 Cats

Hi Everyone, I needed a card for a little boy, so I scoured blog land for help.... and I found it! It came in the form of Paper Smooches , Just add Ink and Challenge up your life .... So here is the result: I used four colors - the requirement for Paper Smooches. Of course those funky cats are by Paper Smooches - they are my favorite cats from them, I have used them several times by now. I got them sun glasses - the snow is so bright here right now... (you can see some pictures HERE ) The layout is from Just add Ink  and the colors are from Challenge up your life         Also linking up with: The Male Room - Little Boys Simon Says Wednesday challenge - create with critters Happy Stamping!

Superhero

Hi Everyone, I need a birthday card for a little boy, so what' better than   playing with the  Friday Mashup  - just focusing on the Superhero theme.  All my supplies are by Paper Smooches. I fussy cut the Superman and colored him with Copics. The sentiment is heat embossed. The skyline was a bit of work, but totally worth the effort - I love how this turned out! Dimension

Hi Everyone, Addicted to CAS has a really cool challenge going on at the moment. They want to see dimension on cards. There is quite a few ways to add dimension , but I thought I do it on an almost one layer card. Could have done one layer, but was too lazy to do an inlaid die cut...... I used an iStencil for this card and inked it with distress inks . The thanks is a die by  Simon Says, also inked it with distress inks. Added an enamel dot. http://www.istencils.com/store/products/27-00107-r-sc   Quite cool, how much dimension you can achieve.... And you know what - today is the last day for substantial savings at iStencil   , go and check it out..... Hats and Mustache

Hi Everyone, back to my usual CAS style - taking a little break from those crazy birds....as I said - I need a few more Father's Day cards.... I am playing with Mel's   which is pure fun - every day a different sketch for 7 days. I am trying to make all 7 days....kept it simple with Washi tape and a variety of hats from Studio 112. The sentiment is from Studio G.  so both real cheapo stamps, but fun! Another D@D Card....

Hi, I made another Father's Day card in preparation for my little yearly card selling stint - the sold well last year - hoping for the same this year;) The clever die cut is  Lil' Inkers. The card base is dry embossed with a Papertrey embossing plate. The sentiment and thanks arrow are heat embossed. Added Washi tape and splatters. I die cut the D@D twice - once using yellow paint chip and the second time with fun foam - that is so much easier than die cutting it multiple times and gluing it all together. Besides that its nice and soft.... Materials:  die cut by Lil' Inkers,  Papertrey embossing plate, Michaels and Heidi Swapp stamps, Washi tape Linking up with : The Paper Players  - tic tac toe The Male Room - Washi tape Amusing Challenges - anything goes

Birthday Giraffe

Hi Everyone, I have to sneak in a card in between our STAMPloration blog hop .......I just made to play in some challenges. That cute giraffe was nudging me for the last few days to get inked up - I finally gave in...... Added Washi tape in the background and embossed a scrap piece of card stock with a Sizzix Embossing Folder. The giraffe is by YNS - I colored it with Copics and fuzzy cut it. The sentiment and inlaid triangle die cut is also by YNS. I mounted the Kraft panel with foam tape. Two Masculine Cards

Hi Everyone, I am still in Father's Dy card mood and what better to use than those funky crazy birds bu Tim Holtz. This one I dressed up with a top hat and brad glasses. The colors are from the current Male Room challenge - see below.  I used watercolor paper and water colors and of course those splatters - they have to be there... The sentiments are a combination of CASual Friday stamps and Studio G stamps. Linking up with: The Male Room Cardz 4 Guyz - Wildlife - although this bird looks rather tame to me ;) Addicted to CAS - animal       And now I have a second card to share - made them with my brand new Winnie and Walter stamps. I wanted to play in their challenges now for a long time, but had no supplies...finally Anita from My Papercraft World pushed me over the edge, I caved in and got myself some goodies :)))) All stamps are by W&W - the "wishes" sentiment is fuzzy cut and heat embossed in silver. the geo...
