   Hi Everyone, This week it's all about New Beginnings at the  Topflight blog .  I smooshed the background with distress inks. Stamped the flower onto it. Stamped it again on scrap paper and colored it. Cut it out.Doodled a frame around the smooshed area. Added the flower with foam tape. Heat embossed the sentiment onto vellum and attached it. Hi Everyone, This week it's anything goes at the  Topflight blog .  So I decided to make some more Christmas cards. I have a feeling I fell behind - for sure not going to  be enough - AGAIN! I discovered this cute little die cut set in the store. I liked it so much that I made two cards! For my first card I created the background with the Snowflake background stamp from Darkroom Door. I heat embossed it and sponged around it, using more color on the outside and left a lighter center. Added teh die cuts and the het embossed sentiment. I used black card stock for the second card. I used foam tape to add the die cuts. Heat embossed the sentiment and borders in gold and added gold splatters, as well as a little gold thread to some of the die cuts.  I hope you liked this.  Hi Everyone, This week it's about Mother's Day or Spring on the Topflight blog.  I first stamped the flower. Stamped the bottles with masking the first one and the big bubble and then stamping the second impression again after I took the mask off, to get a lighter impression behind the glass. Colored everything with water colors. Heat embossed the sentiment on vellum and wrapped it around the card base and taped it to the back. I hope you liked this.      Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. This week I have just a simple card for you. Just some easy coloring and patterned paper. I stamped the snowman and colored him with Copics. Die cut him. Added patterned paper as background ( Funky Fossil Designs ). Added the sentiment. Easy peasy. Sometimes its nice to not do that much..... Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  This week it's anything goes, so I decided to use this fun stamp set from  The Card Hut  called Little Critters. Their stamps are hilarious! Go and check them out. I figured a slim line format is the way to go here. I used stitched dies from Heffy Doodle. I first stamped the 3 squirrels, masked the bottom one a little and then stamped the stand and the squirrel with the taco. Added the birdfeeder on top and hung it onto a branch (Katzelkraft).  I colored everything with water brush pens and markers. Did some sponging around the edges in the end - probably better to do that first....The bigger base card is Kraft Paper, that I also sponged with the same colors. I hope you liked this.      Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  This week it's anything goes. I am starting to get into Christmas card making, finally..... Now this cute set by Craft Emotions is not really  a Christmas set, at least judging by the included sentiments, but those penguins look like they are creating a tree. So I repurposed it for Christmas. Why not?! I colored with Copics and added a Christmas sentiment. Trimmed my card and added small strips of patterned paper on the sides.        Hi Everyone, It's  Topflight Stamps   day!  this week we are featuring Mothers Day or spring cards. I made a card for my mother in law. I hope she will like it! I used this beautiful Grunge Flower from Melina Dahl. Unfortunately it's out of stock right now, but I liked to a similar one at the bottom of this post. I stamped it twice with a little bit of masking and water colored around it to get that negative effect. In the end I thought it's a bit bland, so I added some grey to the flowers.
