Topflight Stamps - Spring

Hi Everyone, This week it's spring on the  Topflight blog . And what's better than flowers and some springy chicks! I used a background from my stash, that I made with a gel plate and a stencil from AALL&Create. I stamped the chicks onto scrap paper and colored them with alcohol ink markers. Stamped the chicks and flowers onto the background and added the cut out chicks. I die cut my card and wanted to mount it onto a solid colored background, but did't like the way it looked. So I sponged the remining frame on darker colors and glued it all onto a white card base. Added some Washi tape instead of a sentiment. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. And here are the stamp supplies I used:  Ginko&Co - KTZ311,  Little Birds  - KTZ217 Numberama ,  Blender Brushes Washi tape #23 Vivre , Gel Press Linking up with: Dream Factory  - Chicken Run, see movie poster be...

Katzelkraft - Foliage

Hi Everyone, Today I have a bit of a different Katzelkraft card for you. I used the new plant set Foliage. It somehow turned into a sad card - possibly  a sympathy card. With different colors it may look more cheerful.... I used an ancient stencil for the windows and brushed with distress inks. Stamped the plants into the windows - and did a bit of masking to assure the plants stay within their window.....I added some milky dew drops from my stash. The pretty sentiment is from the set Enjoy Quotes. The stamps I used are from the following sets: Foliage   -  KTZ310,  Enjoy Quotes  - KTZ291 (FRANCE) Foliage  - KTZ310,  Enjoy Quotes  - KTZ291   (USA Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration. Katzelkraft - More Foliage

Hi Everyone, I am continuing with my Katzelkraft flower series. I used the new plant set Foliage. I am very happy with how this turned out The stamps are so pretty! I first stamped the frame and the sentiment and heat embossed them in gold. I used Lavinia Elements ink to stamp the Eucalyptus leaves and used a water brush to move the colors around a bit. Added the remaining leaves in black ink with some generational stamping. Made a quick mask to mask off the frame and brushed around it with the color remaining in the brush to keep it light. Added the dots and glittery gold enamel dots. Trimmed the bottom and added Washi tape (Funky Fossil Designs) to the bottom of the card base and glued my panel on it. The stamps I used are from the following sets: Foliage   -  KTZ310,  Grunge Frames  - KTZ265,    Adventure Begins - KTZ203, (FRANCE) Foliage  - KTZ310, Grunge Frames - KTZ265,  Inspirational Quotes  - KTZ203,   (USA Hope yo...

Hi Everyone,  I have a variation on the ca bit of a different Katzelkraft card I showed last week here.  I used the new flower set Ginko and Co I made a watercolor background. This is a simple one-layer card. The stamps I used are from the following sets:   Ginko and Co  -  KTZ311 (FRANCE) Ginko and Co  - KTZ311,  (USA Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration. Stars at Topflight Stamps

Hi Everyone, This week is all about stars on the  Topflight blog . There is an extra category about sun/moon and stars  in the store. I settled on the  Katzelkraft Half Tone Star  and heat embossed it in white and black. I sprinkled infusions powders on the stars, using Golden Sand and Emerald Isle. Spritzed it with water. After it dried I stamped the flowers and stamped them again onto scrap paper and cut them out. Added them to the stamped images. Lastly I stamped the sentiment and added it to my card. I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.  See you next week with more  Topflight Stamps  inspiration. Nature with Katzelkraft

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. For this weeks card I am playing along over at Facebook with  Isa  and one of her Tagalong inspirations -  #TAGALONGCOLOUR  combined with  #TAGALONGLIVE04 The theme for the color challenge is complementary colors and the theme for the tagalong is crackle. I hope this qualifies...don't own crackle paste and did not want to invest in one - those things have a tendency to dry out in my house..... I smooshed the background with distress oxide inks - used one of those handy dandy tags from Studio Light - see link below. Stamped the flora and fauna and then stamped the critters again onto scrap paper and cut out the wings. Added them. The stamps I used are from the following sets: Nature and Flowers  - KTZ275     ( FRANCE) Nature and Flowers - KTZ275, Tab Tags  , Crackle background   (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Th...
