Stempel Spass

Hi Everyone, I made this card for the A Blog Named Hero challenge - make the sentiment the star. I thought that  set   You and Me that I have needed to be inked up again....it has been collecting dust, LOL! I went with the colors from this weeks Cosmic Strawberry challenge - aren't they delicious?!! I first made the card without the splatters, but then I thought it looked somewhat naked. So splatters it was....Used my Simon Says rectangular stitched die to cut the white card panel and mounted it onto a Kraft base - needed to get that brown color in somehow.... Hi, I know I already had a post today, but I discovered the  Stampin' Royalty Challenge  picture today and HAD to play. I came home from work, cooked dinner and then up to my craft room. I was drawn to the ampersand and the modern bed/couch.....so here it is: The ampersand (heat embossed) with some grey"pillows", some pearlescent white Paper Candi and black splatters.  Materials: ampersand, you and me: Hero Arts, sentiment and squares: TAWS - Pieces     Also linking up with TAWS  - February linky list  - anything with TAWS stamps Happy Stamping!

I have not played with the RIC in a while - well, that has changed now. I liked the inspiration picture: And here is my interpretation of it: I used the Hero Arts set "You  & me". I added some enamel dots to add some red accents, just like in the inspiration photo. The grey background card I embossed with the linen embossing plate from Papertrey to give it some texture and to incorporate the background wall from the inspiration photo.
